Bandai Namco has released a new update for Tamagotchi Plaza featuring the Maison de Poka, a new resort created by Prince Tamahiko. The shop managers of Tamahiko Town can relax and enjoy some time off at the resort, which is managed by Tamagotchi Plaza players. Players are gifted with furniture upon their first visit, and its up to them to purchase new furniture at Pariparitchi’s furniture store, “Paripari Style,” and make the resort flourish. More updates are also on the way for Tamagotchi Plaza.

Tamagotchi Plaza launched on June 27, 2025 for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. As previously announced, the game is compatible with the Tamagotchi Uni device, which is sold separately. Final Weapon previously reviewed Tamagotchi Plaza, noting that it’s “a charming game with characters that are cute enough to hold their own. However, the mini-games leave much to be desired due to repetition, and the time it takes to complete shop upgrades can leave you drained.”

A total of 15 shops are made available at the launch of Tamagotchi Plaza Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. On Nintendo Switch 2, players can head to the Sushi Shop and grip the Joy-Con 2 to make and serve sushi to customers. Players can also show off their throwing skills at the Shuriken Shop or combine both of their newly acquired techniques in the Sushi Shuriken Shop. As a reminder, players who own Tamagotchi Plaza on Nintendo Switch can transition to the Nintendo Switch Edition by purchasing the upgrade pack in the Nintendo eShop.
