Persona 4 Revival Reveals Velvet Room Information and Japanese In-Store Demos

Available at select Yodobashi Camera and Bic Camera from November 14 to December 13.

Published:

ATLUS has revealed new information about the Velvet Room in Persona 4 Revival, and confirmed that in-store demos will be available across Japan. The latter will be available at six Yodobashi Camera and Bic Camera stores nationwide from November 14 to December 13, 2026.

Much like at Gamescom 2026 and Tokyo Game Show 2026, the public demo will feature two sections: Story and Dungeon. The former previews the awakening of both the Protagonist and Yosuke, while the latter is the first dungeon leading up to the boss fight against Shadow Chie. Teddie will also appear for meet-and-greats at Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Akiba on November 21st, as well as the same location in Umeda on November 29th.

The new Velvet Room information is as follows:

Characters

Igor (JPN VA: Ben Shimada / ENG VA: Kirk Thornton)

The master of the Velvet Room, a place which exists between dreams and reality, mind and matter. He invites those who have fulfilled a “contract” as guests, helping the protagonist to achieve his destiny.

Margaret (JPN VA: Sayaka Ohara)

A resident of the Velvet Room who accompanies Igor. An intelligent woman who carries the Persona Compendium by her side, assisting the protagonist alongside her master. She has a slightly mischievous side.

Marie (JPN VA: Kana Hanazawa / ENG VA: Ari Thrash)

A mysterious girl you encounter in Inaba. Though seemingly unfriendly, she’s outgoing and brimming with curiosity. She also has a hobby she’d prefer to keep secret.

Velvet Room

The Velvet Room is a special location the protagonist can visit as an essential facility for persona development, where players can fuse and create new Personas, as well as acquire skill cards.

With “Persona Fusion,” players can combine multiple personas to create a new one. Skills can be inherited, so a persona can be created to your liking.

Occasionally, an unintended “fusion accident” can occur, resulting in a different persona than initially expected…

By speaking with Marie in the Velvet Room, players can acquire “Skill Cards,” which allow personas to learn specific skills. Once obtained, make sure to speak to Marie to purchase them to add them to your inventory.

Furthermore, when fusing personas, fulfilling certain conditions can result in various effects being applied depending on the day, like acquiring powerful skills or strengthening stats. You can check the conditions and the effects through the Fusion Forecast.

UPDATE: ATLUS West has revealed that both Kirk Thornton will reprise his role as Igor. In addition, Marisha Ray will voice Margaret once again, after previously voicing the character in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Persona 4: Dancing All Night, and Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth.
