Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy Releases Y’shtola and ‘Dawn’s Light’ Season on October 27

Square Enix has announced that Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy will add Y’shtola and the new “Dawn’s Light” season on October 27. The update accompanying the new season and character will be themed around Final Fantasy XIV. 

Y’shtola Rhul, who debuted in Final Fantasy XIV and is voiced by Ai Kayano, is a limited-time character. She will be available until November 23. Her role is ranged, and her favored element is fire. Her unique ability is Fire of the Seventh Dawn, while her passive is Sorceress of the Seventh Dawn. In “Dawn’s Light,” players can unlock Y’shtola for free through normal season rewards. A season-exclusive Sealed Ability Crystal is available in the season rewards as well, which gives players a chance to unlock exclusive UR and SR abilities for Y’shtola, alongside a new Memoria “Call of the First.” 

The update also adds a new style for Gaia, known as “Iceshade Serenade,” which is available until November 23. A special Final Fantasy XIV-themed mission, titled “Trials,” will take place in three phases. The first phase will last from October 30-November 6, second phase from November 6-13, and the third and final phase will take place from November 13-20.

Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy is now available for Android via Google Play Store and iOS via App Store.
