During Anime Expo 2026, SEGA and ATLUS have released a new trailer for Persona 4 Revival introducing Rise Kujikawa, who is voiced by Abby Trott in English and Rie Kugimiya in Japanese. In addition, the Persona 4 Revival developers confirmed that animation studio MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man) will produce the in-game anime cutscenes.
The Persona 4 Revival Broadcast recently highlighted the remake’s story, characters, battle system, and improvements. Persona 4 Revival recreates the legendary Persona 4 Golden in a comprehensive remake featuring new fully voiced events and dialogue, a newly recorded and arranged soundtrack, and new features, such as the Prime Time gameplay mechanic. P-STUDIO Director Kazuhisa Wada also shared a message directly to fans in the broadcast.
Persona 4 Revival will launch on February 18, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Microsoft Store and Steam. Persona 4 Revival will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one. Pre-orders for the Persona 4 Revival Collector’s Edition (console only) are available now at participating retailers.
In Japan, there will be demo sessions for Persona 4 Revival on July 12 in Tokyo, Japan. The Persona 4 Revival demo features the beginning of the game and lasts around 30 minutes. Feedback from attendees will be collected and shared online sometime after the event ends. The demo sessions will take place on July 12 from 12:00 to 17:00 JST, and more details are available on ATLUS’ Persona Channel website.
Persona 6 was announced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Microsoft Store and Steam. ATLUS describes Persona 6 as “The highly anticipated next chapter of the iconic RPG series delivers a bold, new standalone story blending heartfelt daily life and new characters with pulse-pounding, supernatural adventure. Whether it’s your first Persona game or you’ve been here since the beginning, this one’s for you.“
