A release for the west was not announced at the time of this writing.

Here’s an overview of the game, via Gematsu:

Live, in the name of Justice.

What is it that warriors fight for?

Each warrior of the Warring States period had their own reasons for riding into battle—be it territory, social standing, the sake of humanity, or their own ambition. This title focuses on those reasons, with battles between evenly matched warriors and an exploration of the bonds between ally and enemy.

Enjoy a full revival of the city development portion of domestic affairs for the first time in nearly 20 years. Freely develop your own castle town, depicted in beautifully evolved graphics.

Experience story mode for the first time in series history. Both series fans and newcomers to the Warring States and historical simulation games can enjoy this story focused on the life of Oda Nobunaga.

Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening, the latest entry in the series, is available now for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam worldwide. Final Weapon’s review of Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening praises the game’s robust strategy and management systems, allowing players to fulfill their power fantasy as daimyō in the Sengoku era.

Marvel Rivals Adds Cyclops, New Game Mode, and New Map on June 12

NetEase has announced that it will add Cyclops to Marvel Rivals alongside the release of season 8.5 on June 12. The new season will also add a new map and game mode on the same day.

Cyclops, otherwise known as Scott Summers, is one of the most beloved members of the X-Men. His character has recently gone through a resurgence, due to his major role in X-Men ’97. He will also feature in the upcoming Avengers Doomsday film. In Rivals, he can use his optic blasts to attack enemies at long range. Additionally, he can also bounce the blasts off of walls and between enemies. His super removes all of his limiters and deals devastating damage.

Season 8.5 will add a new arena map, titled K’un-Lun: Shenloong Arena. It also features an 18v18 mode titled Bounty Annihilation, which puts players into a no-holds barred deathmatch, with no rules or restrictions. Further, it includes a new team-up attack with Cyclops and Wolverine and a new summer event starting on June 18 (which will add costumes for Spider-Man, Cloak & Dagger, Emma Frost, Doctor Strange, and Reed Richards). Finally, NetEase confirmed that the Avengers: Age of Ultron Road to Doomsday event will now release in late July, while the Avengers: Infinity War event will release in mid-October, so that it can polish both events.

Touhou Koumakyou New Classic - the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil

Alliance Arts and Team Shanghai Alice’s Shanghai Alice Reprise development team have announced Touhou Koumakyou: New Classic – the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, a remaster of the Touhou Project shoot ’em up for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Touhou Koumakyou – The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, with music and graphics remastered by an older and wiser creator (self-described).

Touhou Koumakyou – the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil is a vertical-scrolling 2D shoot-’em-up where you weave through dazzling curtains of bullets.

Take control of the shrine maiden Reimu or the magician Marisa, and set out to resolve the incident threatening Gensokyo. Dodge and slip your way forward through barrages of bullets dense enough to fill the entire screen.

Make full use of each character’s unique shots to defeat your enemies—while keeping your life count from dropping to zero under their attacks. Every shot type plays differently: some automatically home in on enemies, while others deliver superior firepower in a head-on assault.

The New Classic edition features upscaled high-resolution graphics, with every track rearranged by ZUN.

It also adds a brand-new mode where you can take on the challenge with unlimited lives.

Controls

      • Player movement: Move up, down, left, and right.
      • Shot: Your standard attack.
      • Bomb: A special attack. The type can be chosen during character select, and each has its own characteristics, so pick your favorite and have fun. It’s a very powerful attack, but be careful—the number of uses is limited.
      • Focus Mode: Slow your movement speed for finer control.

Gamepad button assignments can be changed via the Key Config in the game’s Options menu.

Story

Gensokyo has been blanketed in a scarlet mist.

Hakurei Shrine maiden, Reimu Hakurei, and Marisa Kirisame, a magician living in the Forest of Magic, set out to resolve the incident.

She awaited them inside the Western-style mansion that materialized amidst the mist.

Marisa Kirisame

A magician living in the Forest of Magic.
