    NEXON has released the new “Serenade Promenade” update for Blue Archive. The update adds new story events and more.

    On April 15, a new event started where the chances of players recruiting Mari (Pop Idol) and Sakurako (Pop Idol) are increased. Mari heals and herself one ally using different percentages of her Healing stat. She converts excess healing beyond Max HP into Bonus HP and accumulates Fan Service over time. Sakurako increases Crit and Crit DMG for herself and all Special Students. There is also a story event which started on the same day. Both will end on April 28.

    NEXON also confirmed that Blue Archive will soon release on PC via Steam. There’s also a new season, “Chokmah (Special Armor),” where players can earn numerous in-game rewards. When you defeat the Final Restriction Release boss during the event schedule, you can earn all rewards up to the highest cleared level. This will last until May 12.

It will air on Tokyo MX first, followed by BS Asahi and Nagasaki Culture Telecasting Corporation on July 11.

    Dear Villagers has announced that Star Overdrive will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on June 19. It released on April 10 for Nintendo Switch. 

    Two digital versions will be available. The standard release will cost $34.99, while the deluxe edition is priced at $39.99. The latter includes three styles, a design, and 50 dyes for the hoverboard. It also includes the digital soundtrack and prequel manga, written and drawn by the Caracal Games team.

    Aspyr has released patch 1 for Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It includes new outfits, photo mode upgrades, and other bug fixes.

    Crunchyroll announced Attack on Titan: The Last Attack is now streaming on the service. The compilation movie is available with English subs and English dubs, according to the movie’s page on Crunchyroll

    Attack on Titan: The Last Attack initially premiered on November 8, 2024 in Japan. As re-edited adaptation of the two anime specials, the movie is 145 minutes long and features 5.1ch surround sound. It also includes an additional post-credits scene. “Nisen-nen… Moshiku wa…. Niman-nen ato no Kimi e” (To You in 2,000… or… 20,000 Years From Now) by Linked Horizon is the film’s theme song.

    Kadokawa released a new trailer for the TV anime adaptation of Nanateru’s Alma-chan Wants to Have a Family! manga, revealing the main cast of the anime. In addition, a new teaser key visual for the anime was revealed on the anime’s official website.

    The cast of the Alma-chan Wants to Have a Family! anime includes:

    • Hika Tsukishiro as Alma
    • Ryōta Suzuki as Enji Kamisato

    Yasuhiro Minami directs the Alma-chan Wants to Have a Family! anime series at Studio Flad. Yukie Sugawara oversees the series scripts, and Mika Yamamoto is the character designer. The anime will premiere sometime in 2025.

    Kadokawa’s Comic Newtype website ran the original manga, and Kadokawa published three volumes in total. The third volume releases in March 2024. The sequel manga Alma-chan wa Kazoku ni Naritai Z launched on July 31, 2024, and it’s still ongoing. The first volume will be released on April 25.

    Cardfight Vanguard DivineZ includes the sixth and seventh seasons of the “D Series,” which began with the first season of Cardfight Vanguard overDress in April 2021. The Cardfight Vanguard franchise would feature up to nine seasons of D Series anime, so fans can expect another season after Deluxe-hen. After DivineZ Season 1’s dub aired in April, the anime’s second season premiered in July 2024.

    Blue Box English Dub is Now Streaming on Netflix

    TMS Entertainment announced the English dub of the Blue Box anime series is now streaming on Netflix. It will also streaming with subtitles in multiple languages. 

    The voice cast of the Blue Box English dub includes:

    • Taiki Inomata – Zach Aguilar (Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba)
    • Chinatsu Kano – Xanthe Hyunh (Osaragi from Sakamoto Days)
    • Hina Chono – Kayli Mills (Midori Kawashima from Sound! Euphonium)
    • Kyo Kasahara – Caden Shaffer (Hidenori Noguchi from Sound! Euphonium)
    • Kengo Haryu – Daman Mills (Kashima from Sakamoto Days)

    Yūichirō Yano is the anime’s director, Yūko Kakihara is overseeing the series scripts, and Miho Tanino is the character designer. Once more, Telecom Animation Film is in charge of animation. UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS is planning and producing the anime, which ran for 25 episodes across two cours in the first season. Blue Box Season 2 is currently in production.

    Netflix announced that it will stream the My Hero Academia: You’re Next anime movie starting April 20.

    Kohei Horikoshi served as character designer and chief supervisor for My Hero Academia: You’re Next, which follows an original story. BONES animated the movie, and TOHO distributing it in Japanese theaters. TOHO International distributed the film in theaters this past October.

    The voice cast of the My Hero Academia anime series returned for the film. Moreover, Mamoru Miyano and Meru Nukumi play the roles of original characters Giulio Gandini and Anna Scervino in the Japanese dub, respectively. The movie features the theme song “Homunculus” by Vaundy.

    The My Hero Academia Vigilantes anime series is now streaming on Crunchyroll with same-day English dubs and subs. Kocchi no Kento will perform the opening theme song “Kekka Orai (All’s Well in the End)” for My Hero Academia Vigilantes. Rock band yutori will perform the ending theme song “Speed.”

    Kenichi Suzuki is directing the anime series at BONES FILM. Yōsuke Kuroda will write and oversee the series scripts. Takahiko Yoshida is the character designer, and Yuki Hayashi is composing the music alongside Shōgo Yamashiro and Yūki Furuhashi.
