Ed Boon has released the first teaser trailer for Conan the Barbarian in Mortal Kombat 1. The character will be available in the game’s early access on January 21. Despite the original character being played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, it appears the actor will not voice him in Mortal Kombat 1. Expect NetherRealm Studios to release a full trailer in the coming weeks.

Recently, Insider Gaming reported that future Mortal Kombat 1 DLC has been cancelled. The reason for this is supposedly due to the sales for the recent expansion, Khaos Reigns, underperforming. The cancelled DLCs would’ve included a third Kombat Pack, as well as a new story expansion. Currently, neither Ed Boon, NetherRealm Studios, or Warner Bros. have commented on the report.
In September, NetherRealm Studios released the expansion for Mortal Kombat 1, titled Khaos Reigns. It includes Noob Saibot, Sektor, and Cyrax at launch. The most recent DLC launched for Mortal Kombat 1 added Ghostface to the game. He is available now for both early access owners and those who own the base edition of the game. The next characters for the DLC will include Conan the Barbarian and the T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
Mortal Kombat 1 is the latest entry in the beloved Mortal Kombat franchise. The game is available now and features various unique characters and brand-new ways to play. In November, during New York Comic-Con, NRS released the first DLC character, Omni-Man, for the game. They released Quan Chi in December, with the next character, Peacemaker, releasing in February. In April, Ermac was added to the game. In June, NRS added Homelander. Before the release of Khaos Reigns, the most recent character was Takeda.
