NetherRealm Studios has revealed a new trailer for the next DLC character for Mortal Kombat 1, Homelander. The character will be available on June 4 for early access players.
Mortal Kombat 1 is the long-anticipated next entry in the beloved Mortal Kombat franchise. The game is available now and features various unique characters and brand-new ways to play. In November, during New York Comic-Con, NRS released the first DLC character, Omni-Man, for the game. They released Quan Chi in December, with the next character, Peacemaker, releasing in February. The most recent character released for Mortal Kombat 1 was Ermac.
Mortal Kombat 1 Shows New Trailer for Homelander, Releasing on June 4
NetherRealm Studios has revealed a new trailer for Mortal Kombat 1. The trailer showcases the game’s next DLC character, Homelander. Homelander originates from The Boys, a graphic novel which went from 2006 to 2012. An Amazon Prime Live Action series released in 2019, with the next season of the series releasing on June 13. Homelander will be available for early access players of Mortal Kombat 1 on June 4. Additionally, the game’s next Kameo fighter, Ferra, will be available later in June. During the recent CCXP 2023 event in Brazil, Ed Boon held a panel dedicated to Mortal Kombat. During the event, he revealed that the game will be getting story DLC in the near future. He stated: “Just like we did with MK11, we’re going to release a second part with more story and we have a big surprise after that.”
Lastly, Homelander will be available for Mortal Kombat 1 on June 4 for Early Access players.The next and last DLC character for Mortal Kombat 1‘s first season pass is Takeda Takahashi, Kenshi’s son, who originated in Mortal Kombat X. More details about the next DLC will come soon.
