NetherRealm Studios has released a trailer for another one of the many characters coming to Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns, Sektor. The character will be available as part of the upcoming story expansion alongside Sektor and Noob Saibot. The DLC will also add Animalities, animal-based fatalities that are returning to the series. In the months following its launch on September 24, NetherRealm Studios will also add the T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Conan the Barbarian, and Ghostface from the Scream franchise.
The Mortal Kombat franchise first introduced Sektor in Mortal Kombat 3. In his original debut he was a cyborg ninja loyal to the Lin Kuei. In Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns, much like his counterpart Cyrax, the Sektor has a mechanical suit of armor similar to Iron Man from the Marvel Comics. Sektor has also been switched to a female ninja. She is still a member of the Lin Kuei alongside Sub Zero.
The trailer showcases Sektor’s trademark missiles, flamethrowers, and more. It shows her animality, which has her transform into a rhino. It also showcases one of her fatalities, where she flies her opponent into orbit much like the aforementioned Iron Man. Check out the trailer below:
Mortal Kombat 1 is the most recent entry in the beloved Mortal Kombat franchise. The game is available now and features various unique characters and brand-new ways to play. In November, during New York Comic-Con, NRS released the first DLC character, Omni-Man, for the game. They released Quan Chi in December, with the next character, Peacemaker, releasing in February. In April, Ermac was added to the game. In June, NRS added Homelander. The most recent character was Takeda.
Mortal Kombat 1 is available now on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
