Recently, at Tokyo Game Show 2026, Final Weapon had the chance to attend a closed-door session covering Fate/EXTRA Record and ask questions of Aniplex Co., Ltd. Staff. We asked if there were any potential plans or discussions on bringing Fate/Extra CCC to modern platforms, whether that be via port, remaster, or remake, following Fate/EXTRA Record and depending on its commercial success. In response, it was stated that any potential modern version of the game was “undecided at this time”.
Fate/EXTRA Record will launch on January 28, 2027, for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Physical pre-orders for Fate/EXTRA Record will be available through the Marvelous USA Online Store and participating retailers for Nintendo Switch and PS5, starting at $59.99 for the Standard Edition. The Nintendo Switch 2 Standard Edition will cost $69.99, with the game fully on cartridge.
