Arc System Works has announced that Peni Parker will be part of the launch roster of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. She joins one of the game’s “teams,” known as the Amazing Guardians.
The trailer teases more of the game’s story, teasing a character known as the Master of Ceremonies, named the Promoter. She invites heroes and villains alike from throughout the multiverse to take part in a tournament that will determine the fate of the planet. It also features one of Tōkon‘s playable teams, the Amazing Guardians. The Amazing Guardians includes Spider-Man (Peter Parker), voiced by Josh Keaton, Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan), voiced by Dalia Rooni, Star Lord, voiced by Scott Porter, and Peni Parker, voiced by Risa Mei.
Peni Parker, much like her comics counterpart, utilizes her mech SP//dr in combat. She can use it to fire projectiles, lay traps, and deal devastating attacks. The trailer also showcases a new stage, called Knowhere. Knowhere has several comic characters overlooking the arena, such as Cosmo the Spacedog and the Nova Corps. MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls launches August 6 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Further, Bandai Namco announced the results of the 139th Digimon Referendum fan vote, which involves the question of which Digimon fans would like to train or hope to play an active role in future Digimon games. Users were able to vote for one of 35 Digimon that were selected by the Digimon games team.

Hazuki Nakamura is the art director of Medalist Season 2, and Kentaro Kashiwagi is the compositing director of photography. Japanese figure skater Rika Hongo will take part in the anime’s motion capture film alongside former Olympic skater Akiko Suzuki, who choreographed the skating routines for the first season. Suzuki collaborated with retired figure skater Yuhana Yokoi and active figure skater Hinano Isobe.
Tsurumaikada launched the manga in May 2020 in Kodansha’s Afternoon magazine, and it’s still ongoing. Kodansha USA Publishing licenses the manga in the US.

Bandai Namco Filmworks has announced that the Maebashi Witchesanime series will be getting a new compilation film. In addition to the Maebashi Witches compilation film, the anime’s cast members will perform solo performance concerts in Tokyo on May 24 and in Osaka on May 31. A mini concert will also be hosted at AnimeJapan 2026.

The Maebashi Witches, the five main characters of the anime, perform the opening theme song “Sugosugi Maebashi Witches! (Super Amazing Maebashi Witches!).” Producer Tsunku wrote the lyrics of the opening theme song, and artist TORIENA composed the song. The girls will also perform the ending theme song “Sorezore no Door (Each Door).” Lastly, Haruka Kumoi wrote the lyrics and composed the song, while Yūki Kishida arranged the song.
Aniplex and ufotable have released a new teaser trailer for the Witch on the Holy Night anime film, which reveals the film’s first key visual. As reiterated in the key visual, Witch on the Holy Night will premiere later this year in theaters in Japan.
Studio ufotable is responsible for the animation of the Witch on the Holy Night film, which was featured in ufotable’s “future projects” reel. The studio has a long-standing relationship with TYPE-MOON, being responsible for the production of Fate/Zero, Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, and the Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel movie trilogy. Additionally, ufotable animated the eight the Garden of Sinners films. Alongside their TYPE-MOON works, the company is also known for their work on Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
The Witch on the Holy Night visual novel released on December 8, 2022 worldwide for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. A Steam version was released one year later on December 14, 2023. This localized version of Witch on the Holy Night includes full voice acting, HD visuals, and remastered audio. English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese are all supported.
Following the game’s release, Witch on the Holy Night creator Kinoko Nasu stated that he’d write he will write a sequel one day “no matter what form it takes.” In the past, Nasu stated that he would like to tackle two sequels.

Ōyama began publishing the manga adaptation on Comic Walker in 2021. Kadokawa published the seventh compiled book volume of the manga on July 9.
