Several new games were revealed in a new document leaks from Bethesda and Microsoft during Microsoft’s initial talks to acquire the company. These include Fallout 3 Remastered, Dishonored 3, Doom Year Zero, and more.
Bethesda has had a very successful year since Xbox purchased them. In 2023, they shadow-dropped Hi-Fi Rush, an action hack-and-slash that asks you to time every attack and dodge to the beat of the game’s soundtrack. Additionally, almost two weeks ago, they released Starfield, the latest new IP from Bethesda Studios. Xbox and Bethesda will likely reveal more information on their upcoming lineup in the next few weeks and months.
Microsoft and FTC Leaks Reveal Several New Bethesda Games
In the leaked document initially written in 2020, several games have release dates that differ from when they were released. This is because most of these games were delayed due to COVID-19, which is why Starfield and Redfall are listed for 2021 despite being released in 2023. However, the rest of the lineup beyond fiscal year 2022 is unreleased.
The Microsoft leaks include the following games:
- Indiana Jones Game
- Oblivion Remaster
- Elder Scrolls Online: Expansion
- Starfield DLC
- DOOM Year Zero & DLC
- Project Kestrel
- Elder Scrolls Online: Expansion
- Project Platinum
- The Elder Scrolls VI
- Project Kestrel: Expansion
- Licensed IP Game
- Fallout 3 Remaster
- Elder Scrolls Online: Expansion
- Ghostwire: Tokyo Sequel
- Dishonored 3
- DOOM Year Zero DLC
Some of these games and expansions, such as Starfield, The Elder Scrolls: Online, and Indiana Jones, have already been announced or released. However, a majority of these games are new IPs and unannounced sequels. There’s even a new “licensed IP game.” Only time will tell whether or not games like Dishonored 3, Fallout 3 Remaster, Doom: Year Zero, and the rest of the lineup are still in development. Xbox and Bethesda will reveal more information in the coming months.
Lastly, Starfield, Bethesda’s most recent game, is available now on the Xbox Series X|S and PC.
