MAGES. announced The Quintessential Quintuplets: Gotopazu Story 2nd for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, a sequel to 2023’s The Quintessential Quintuplets: Gotopazu Story. As the game’s title suggests, it will feature content from the mobile game’s second year of service.
The original The Quintessential Quintuplets: Gotopazu Story was delayed to June 29, 2023 in Japan. The upcoming visual novel was originally scheduled to release on May 25, 2023, but MAGES. determined that the game needed further quality improvements before release. MAGES. also re-released all of the game’s trailers to reflect the change to the new release date.

Like the first game, The Quintessential Quintuplets: Gotopazu Story 2nd is a “memorial adventure” game that adapts the events of the mobile game. Specifically, the game adapts the second year of service.

The Quintessential Quintuplets anime celebrates its 5th anniversary in a two-day event in Yokohama Arena from April 27 to 28, 2024. The event features a screening of the film concert on April 27, while a live talk event with the cast will be held on April 28 with a performance. Additionally, three separate events will be held later in the year.
The latest game in the series is The Quintessential Quintuplets: Five Promises Made with Her, which released on September 7, 2023 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan. In The Quintessential Quintuplets: Five Promises Made with Her, protagonist Fuutarou Uesugi enjoys his summer vacation during the first year of college.
Players may experience “heart-pounding summer vacation dates” between Fuutarou and the Nakano quintuplets. Several endings and branching routes are available, but Fuutarou must still pick one of the Nakano sisters by the very end. Success for Fuutarou’s proposal to the heroine depends on choices made throughout the story.
