As a sequel anime, The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup Finals Members Decisive Match will determine who will represent Japan in the finals match against Spain. The anime series is based on the long-running manga series by Takeshi Konomi.
Here’s an overview of the anime, via Crunchyroll:
The World Cup final against Spain is just around the corner, but not everyone will make the lineup. To determine who takes the court for Japan, Coach Mifune calls for a Final Member Selection Match, where teammates face off for spots on the roster. As old rivalries reignite, players must prove they have what it takes to compete on the sport’s biggest stage.
