The staff for the upcoming anime adaptation of Rikito Nakamura and Yukiko Nozawa’s The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love Youmanga revealed that Season 3 will air in July. The staff also revealed a teaser video, which features the voices of new heroine characters, Chiyo Iin and Naddy. The voice actresses will be revealed at the AnimeJapan 2026 on March 28.

Mojang has officially announced Minecraft Dungeons II, which will release in 2026. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Windows.

Next year, the sequel to A Minecraft Movie will release in theaters on July 23, 2027. Jack Black and Jason Momoa will reprise their roles as Steve and Garett, respectively. Danielle Brooks, Matt Berry, and Jennifer Coolidge will also return. Additionally, Kirsten Dunst (Spider-Man, Civil War) will play a currently unannounced character. A Minecraft Movie initially released in theaters on April 4, 2025. While critics rated the film a 47% on Rotten Tomatoes, casual audiences have been more positive about the movie.
Lastly, the first Minecraft Dungeons is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
According to CD Projekt Red’s 2025 financial results, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 significantly boosted the company’s overall revenue. The company’s overall revenue reached 867 million PLN, or $235.2 million.
The Switch 2 edition boosted the sales of CDPR’s goods and materials segment. According to Games Industry, it saw a “fivefold year-on-year increase driven by physical cartridge sales.” Further, the company’s net profit rose 33.7% to 594 million PLN ($161.4 million), up from 444.2 million PLN ($120.2 million) in 2024. Additionally, CDPR also raised the number of its developers from 707 in February 2025 to 933 in February 2026.
A majority of its developers, specifically 499 of them, are working on its next major game, The Witcher IV. The sequel to Cyberpunk, “Project Orion,” has 149 developers assigned to it. A new multiplayer/single-player Witcher game, which is under the code name “Sirius,” has 71 developers working on it. Finally, the newest IP from CD Projekt Red, “Hadar” has 26 developers assigned to it.
CD Projekt Red initially released Cyberpunk 2077 in 2020. The game is available now on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Update 2.0 and the Phantom Liberty expansion are available exclusively on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Both the base game and DLC will be available on Mac devices. Critics initially criticized it for its rushed release, game-breaking glitches, and failure to stay true to the game’s initial promise.
However, the Phantom Libertyexpansion and numerous post-launch patches have completely overhauled the game’s mechanics and brought it closer to the game’s initial promise. Additionally, Netflix will be making a new anime series in collaboration with CDPR based on the Cyberpunk universe.
According to a recent report, two senior leaders at Xbox will be departing the company at an unknown date. The leaders include Lori Wright, the corporate VP of partnerships, business development, and marketing, as well as Haiyan Zhang, the general manager of gaming AI at Xbox.
Wright states that she is leaving after an “incredible decade” at Xbox. Currently, she hasn’t yet stated what her next steps will be, or the reason for her departure. As for Zhang, she will “step into the next phase of [her] career” as she joins Netflix’s gaming team. The change comes almost a month after former Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer retired and Xbox President Sarah Bond resigned. In their place, Asha Sharma took the reins as Microsoft Gaming CEO and Xbox Game Studios head Matt Booty took over as Chief Content Officer of Microsoft Gaming.
Recently, during the Xbox Developer Summit keynote address at GDC 2026, Microsoft Gaming revealed that it plans to ship alpha version development kits of the next-generation Xbox console, codenamed Project Helix, in 2027. Xbox is also planning on “rolling out new ways to play some of the most iconic games from our past” to celebrate the brand’s 25th anniversary in 2026.
Further, Xbox mode will be releasing on Windows 11 for desktop PCs and handhelds in April in select markets. Windows 11’s Xbox mode previously made its debut on ROG Xbox Ally handheld gaming devices. The console will seemingly be able to play both Xbox and PC games. Lastly, during the company’s 25th anniversary, Xbox will release games such as Forza Horizon6, Fable, Halo: Campaign Evolved, and Gears of War: E-Day for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 5.

Shueisha Games has released the version 1.1.0 update for koeda’s gem-matching roguelite game ANTHEM#9 alongside the game’s original soundtrack. The ANTHEM#9 original soundtrack features 24 tracks by xylo, and a track preview video was also released.
ANTHEM#9 update 1.1.0 brings several community-requested improvements, including the “No Time Limit Mode,” which lets players have a more relaxed experience. The update also brings customizable mouse cursors, initial skill selection for Extra Missions, and rebalanced early-game boss encounters.

Nightdive Studios has released the version 2.1 update for System Shock remake, titled “Parity Patch.” As the name suggests, the System Shock Parity Patch brings parity across all versions of the game, and Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 performance has been improved.
System Shock now runs at 900p docked and up to 720p in handheld with dynamic resolution and a 30 FPS performance target on Nintendo Switch. On Nintendo Switch 2, System Shock now runs up to 1440p at 60 FPS in docked and 1080p 60 FPS in handheld mode. Players also have access to Joy-Con 2 mouse controls in the game on Switch 2, along with gyro aiming.

The Pokémon Company has announced that Pokémon Horizons Season 3 – Rising Hope Part 2 is now streaming on Netflix. As previously announced, Pokémon Horizons Season 3 – Rising Hope is set a year after the events in Laqua, as Liko, Roy, and their partner Pokémon set out on a new journey.
