    Anthem#9 update 1.1.0

    Shueisha Games has released the version 1.1.0 update for koeda’s gem-matching roguelite game ANTHEM#9 alongside the game’s original soundtrack. The ANTHEM#9 original soundtrack features 24 tracks by xylo, and a track preview video was also released.

    ANTHEM#9 update 1.1.0 brings several community-requested improvements, including the “No Time Limit Mode,” which lets players have a more relaxed experience. The update also brings customizable mouse cursors, initial skill selection for Extra Missions, and rebalanced early-game boss encounters.

    • Fixed an issue where using Skills that apply “Wound” to shielded enemies caused predicted damage to differ from the actual damage dealt.

    • Fixed an issue where using Skills on certain enemies while the player had “Fighting Spirit” caused predicted damage to differ from actual damage.
    • Fixed an issue where the “Feeble” status icon remained displayed even after its effect had expired.
    • Fixed an issue where certain Boss voice lines might not play correctly.
    • Fixed an issue where Skills stolen by the Boss Clive’s special move “Observer” could not be used on the following turn.

    System Shock Parity Patch Improves Switch/Switch 2 Performance

    Nightdive Studios has released the version 2.1 update for System Shock remake, titled “Parity Patch.” As the name suggests, the System Shock Parity Patch brings parity across all versions of the game, and Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 performance has been improved.

    System Shock now runs at 900p docked and up to 720p in handheld with dynamic resolution and a 30 FPS performance target on Nintendo Switch. On Nintendo Switch 2, System Shock now runs up to 1440p at 60 FPS in docked and 1080p 60 FPS in handheld mode. Players also have access to Joy-Con 2 mouse controls in the game on Switch 2, along with gyro aiming.

    • Realspace and Cyberspace level design on several Decks refined with balance and lighting tweaks.

    The Pokémon Company has announced that Pokémon Horizons Season 3 – Rising Hope Part 2 is now streaming on Netflix. As previously announced, Pokémon Horizons Season 3 – Rising Hope is set a year after the events in Laqua, as Liko, Roy, and their partner Pokémon set out on a new journey.

    Here’s an overview of Pokémon Horizons Season 3 – Rising Hope Part 2, via The Pokémon Company:

    The Rising Volt Tacklers continue their adventure as they search for traces of Laquium, make new Pokémon friends, and train to become stronger than they could ever expect. Setting the crew’s course, Liko, Roy, and Dot discover more about their newest teammate—the headstrong Ult—who’s determined to befriend the mysterious Pokémon inside the Dusk Ball he carries. And while challenging the Explorers is tough work, there’s still plenty of time for reunions with familiar faces, fun-filled day trips, and exciting battles with friends!

    Pokémon Horizons: The Search for Laqua Part 1 is available on Netflix, Amazon, Apple TV, and Google Play. Part 2 premiered on April 25, 2025, followed by Part 3 on June 27, 2025. Netflix began streaming Pokémon Horizons: The Search for Laqua Part 4 on September 26, 2025. Pokémon Horizons Season 3 – Rising Hope began streaming on Netflix on January 6, 2026. 

    The Pokémon Horizons: Rising Again anime premiered on October 31, 2025 in Japan, which features a new arc set in Blueberry Academy from Pokémon Scarlet & Violet’s The Indigo Disk DLC.     REMOW to Stream You Don’t Know Gunma Yet and Kanagawa Elves Light Anime

    REMOW has announced that the You Don’t Know Gunma Yet: Reiwa version and Kanagawa Elves light anime will be streaming on the “It’s Anime” free ad-supported streaming television channel (FAST) channel on Samsung TV Plus. The You Don’t Know Gunma Yet: Reiwa version anime will stream on March 26 at 6:00 p.m. EDT, and Kanagawa Elves will stream on March 26 at 5:00 p.m. EDT and March 30 at 4:30 a.m. EDT. 

    You Don’t Know Gunma Yet: Reiwa version premiered on January 10. Tetsuya Tatamitani directed and composed the series. Kōhei Nakayama and Emi Saitō wrote the script, Akihito Masui composed the music, and Miura Tōko directed the music. Kazuya Takahashi was the light anime’s production supervisor. IMAGICA Infos produced the series.

    Ida launched the You Don’t Know Gunma Yet manga series on Shinchosha’s Kurage Bunch website in October 2013, and the series ended in May 2019. 11 compiled book volumes were released by Shinchosha. A 12-episode anime short series premiered in April 2018, and Crunchyroll streamed the series with English subs as it aired in Japan.

    The TV light anime adaptation of Yoroida’s Kanagawa Elves manga series premiered on December 4, 2025 in Japan. Brass rock band The Folie Phantom performs the ending theme song “#KanaEruMagic! (feat. Masahiro Inoue).”

    Yūji Umoto directs the light anime at IMAGICA Infos and Imageworks Studio. Taeko Miura is the sound director, Shin Kawamoto is the music composer, and Kazuya Takahashi is the production supervisor. What’s more, Usagiou is credited for animation production assistance.

    Yoroida launched the manga series on Comic Elmo in August 2020. Micro Magazine published the manga’s first compiled book volume in 2021.

    Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Updated Post-Launch Roadmap Released

    Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Updated DLC Roadmap Released

    SEGA has released an updated version of the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds post-launch roadmap, which features both paid DLC and free updates. More characters will be available in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds in the coming months. 

    The post-launch roadmap features content from both the Season Pass (which costs $29.99), as well as free content additions. The Season Pass includes the following collaborative content:

    • Minecraft – Q4 2025
      • Playable characters: Steve, Alex, and Creeper
      • Minecraft-themed course and vehicle
    • SpongeBob SquarePants – Q4 2025
      • Playable characters: SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will also be available at physical retailers on March 26 for $69.99. Moreover, this version features the full game on the cartridge.

    Yakuza Powered by Nihon Touitsu Live-Action Drama Now Streaming with English Subtitles

    SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have released all three episodes of the Yakuza Powered by Nihon Touitsu live-action drama series with English subtitles on YouTube. Serving as a prequel to Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties, Yakuza Powered by Nihon Touitsu is a special collaborative series between RGG Studio and the creators of the hit Japanese video series Nihon Touitsu, which depicts Japan’s yakuza society.

    The Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties Original Soundtrack is now available on various streaming services, including YouTube Music, Spotify, and Apple Music. What’s more, the Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties Original Soundtrack will be released physically by Wave Master for 5,280 yen (tax included) on March 4 in Japan. The Original Soundtrack comes in a massive four-CD set, which includes a cover of Bakamitai by Japanese singer Akiko Wada.

    Final Weapon reviewed Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties and gave it a 3/5 score, noting that the game is “a remake and new side story that both improves and subtracts from the original Yakuza 3, making it a mixed bag of a title for those who were wanting a definitive and improved version of the PS3 game.”

    Mobile Fighter G Gundam Anime 30th Anniversary Short Released

    The Gundam YouTube channel has released a new animated short for Mobile Fighter G Gundam, which was made to commemorate the anime’s 30th anniversary. The short is described as a “fighting movie.” 

    The short initially released two years ago, thirty years after the original anime premiered in 1994. The staff behind the short created it using experimental digital animation techniques, including 3D CG during the previsualization stage to plan out motion sequences.     The most recent Gundam film, Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway The Sorcery of Nymph Circe, opened on January 30 across 365 theaters in Japan. North American screenings will follow at a later date. The first Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway film was re-cut into four episodes, which began broadcasting weekly on Nippon TV’s AnichU programming block on January 6.

    R&B and hip-hop singer-songwriter SZA performs the opening theme song “Snooze.” It features the ending theme song “Sweet Child O’ Mine” by legendary rock band Guns N’ Roses. SennaRin performs the insert song “ENDROLL” with Yōhei Kawakami of Alexandros. The film featured many of the songs from a recent album from SennaRin and Hiroyuki Sawano, titled LOSTandFOUND.     Butt Detective Anime New Episodes Release on April 4

    The staff for the Butt Detective anime have announced that new episodes of the series will start releasing on April 4. A new trailer for the series has also released. 

    As previously announced, the new episodes will feature an adaptation of Oshiri Dandy the Young manga. The manga focuses on the adventures of the titular Butt Detective’s father. The manga initially released in Shueisha’s Saikyō Jump magazine in 2020. Its 11th compiled book volume will ship on November 5.

    The second storyline of the new episodes will center on Butt Detective unraveling the mystery of a message sent to him by Phantom Thief U, while he also faces off against the Phantom Thief Academy. Satoshi Hino will join the cast as Oshiri Dandy (Young), while Mikako Komatsu will play Hehe. Check out the new trailer for the upcoming episodes of Butt Detective below:

    Butt Detective initially premiered on NHK International in 2018. The series focuses on a detective with a butt for his face and his partner, a small brown dog named Brown, as they solve crimes. Last year, new episodes started premiering on October 4. Further, the most recent anime film in the franchise, Butt Detective: Star and Moon, premiered in theaters in Japan on March 20, 2025.

    Lastly, Toei Animation describes the story of Butt Detective as follows:
