Hasbro has announced that it will release figures based on The Legend of Zelda franchise. It will reveal the first three during San Diego Comic-Con 2026.
The “multi-year” collaboration will properly begin in 2027. While it is unknown which era of Zelda the figures will highlight, Hasbro has confirmed that the first three figures will be 6″ scale. In a statement, Billy Lagor, President Toys and Board Games at Hasbro, said the following about the collaboration: ““For decades, The Legend of Zelda franchise has captivated fans through its deep lore, unforgettable characters and enduring sense of discovery. By combining Nintendo’s iconic storytelling with Hasbro’s leadership in action and role-play, we’re delivering toys that invite fans to play, explore and forge their own epic adventures.”
Next year, Nintendo and Sony will release The Legend of Zelda film in theaters on April 30, 2027, instead of its previous release date of May 7. The movie will star Bo Bragason as Zelda and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link. Previously, Shigeru Miyamoto showcased the official designs for both characters via a social media post. Link’s design features his iconic green tunic, minus the classic hat. He also has blonde hair, which separates him from previous designs in the franchise. Zelda has her blue outfit from Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom, as well as her brown-haired look from Twilight Princess. Wes Ball directs the upcoming live-action The Legend of Zelda movie. In the past, Ball directed The Maze Runner franchise and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.
Lastly, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake will release for the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.
