Insomniac Games has released a CG trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine, titled “Ain’t No Hero.” The game will release on September 15 for PlayStation 5 in both digital and physical formats

The trailer showcases the titular character desperately trying to hold onto the memories he has left all. He finds himself pursued by Ravagers, forming uneasy alliances with Sabretooth, and fighting Lady Deathstrike. The moment his enemies threaten his connection to loved one Jean Grey, though, he falls into the rage that has defined the character since his origin. Check out the new “Ain’t No Hero” trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine, which will also be shown before screenings of The Odyssey in the United States, below:

On July 23, PlayStation will hold a panel during San Diego Comic-Con 2026, focused on Marvel’s Wolverine. It will last from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM PDT, and include panelists such as Insomniac Games’ Creative Director Marcus Smith, Game Director Mike Daly, Narrative Director Walt Williams, and Sr. Project Director Jess Reiner-Reed. The panel will also feature actors Liam McIntyre (Wolverine) and Krizia Bajos (Jean Grey), alongside Executive Producer Eric Monacelli from Marvel Games. It will offer “a behind-the-scenes look into the game’s story, characters, and exclusive never-before-seen content.”

The PlayStation Store describes Marvel’s Wolverine as follows:

The game will explore Logan’s signature spin on heroism – which is much darker and more brutal than you might expect from Insomniac. Independence is often the way of Wolverine, although he’ll encounter familiar faces on his journey, like the elusive Mystique and the brutish Omega Red. Some will fight alongside Logan against all odds, while others will unleash all-out attacks, such as the Reavers, an enemy faction that will keep our hero’s instincts on edge.

In this original story, Wolverine is on the hunt to uncover the secrets of a dark past that keeps eluding him. His search for answers will send him on perilous excursions to exotic locales, including the island nation of Madripoor, the frosted wilderness of Canada and the narrow city streets of Tokyo – all potential battlegrounds for fierce, bloody, destructive action.
