The staff behind the Mobile Suit Gundamfranchise revealed the winners of the first annual Global Gundam Poll. The poll gave over 1,000,000 fans around the world to vote for their favorite Gundam units.

Akatsuki Games, TOHO CO., and Production I.G have added Main Story Chapter 10: Aptitude Test to KAIJU No. 8 THE GAME. The new story is available alongside ★5 character, [Calculated Choice] Haruichi Izumo.
A press release describes the new story as follows: “Young Defense Force recruits have gathered at the Ariake Maritime Base. Their mission: an aptitude test for the CLOZER suit—specialized gear designed to combat Dimensional Kaiju. Haruichi Izumo and Aoi Kaguragi face off in a grueling competition for the top spot. The true power of these young talents will be put to the test!” Izumo is the game’s first bow-based character. As you progress through the story, you can unlock up to 1,500 dimensional crystals.

KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME is available now for Android, iOS, and PC via Steam. Currently, Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 is streaming with English dubs and subs on Crunchyroll. SEGA has revealed a new logo celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Sakura Wars franchise, also known as Sakura Taisen in Japan. In addition to the Sakura Wars 30th anniversary logo, SEGA teased that new merchandise and events will be announced. On the official website’s announcement post, SEGA didn’t indicate whether or not a new Sakura Wars game is in development.
The original Sakura Taisen game was released on September 27, 1996 for the SEGA Saturn. Since then, Sakura Wars would receive various mainline sequels and entries, along with spinoff titles. The most recent title in the series was the ill-fated Sakura Kakumei mobile game, which ended service in June 2021—six months after the December 2020 launch.
Rumors and reports from January 2024 indicated that SEGA was developing new Panzer Dragoon, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Sakura Wars games. These games would be in addition to SEGA’s various revival projects, which include Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, Golden Axe, and Streets of Rage: Revolution. Shinobi was also part of the initial revival lineup, later releasing as Shinobi: Art of Vengeance. There hasn’t been any notable updates regarding the rumored projects since then, along with the majority of SEGA’s confirmed revival projects.

SEGA has announced its latest round of updates and events for Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis to kick off April 2026. On April 1, the first of many updates for Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis will arrive with Chapter 8 of the Main Story.
In Chapter 8 of the main story, the protagonist of Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis is called by Crawford, who breaks the news that he’s lost contact with a research team in the Alter Realm. The protagonist takes up the call in order to investigate what happened to the team’s members.
In addition, Slayers will receive the new active Class Skill, Gunblade Focus Extra Drive. This new skill consumes 3 Gunblade Focus Gauge levels to temporarily strengthen Relentless Blade. While in effect, Slayers can use one super-enhanced Slug Shot. The update also brings some balance changes to Slayers and Gunblade abilities.

The Limited-Time Quest: Invasion on Shifting Sands will also be available on April 1 with new Title Tasks and Limited-time Tasks. Invasion on Shifting Sands will be getting a partial route update on April 8 with a new route features Mobile Cannon ALR. Limited-time Quest Drill: Fierce Warlord Arena, Drill: Flaming Wave Dash, and Drill: Flaming Hell Dash will also be made available on April 15, April 22, and April 28 in succession.
Limited-time Urgent Quest: Omen of the Planetbreaker D.2 is making a comeback. Players can take on Malignant Dark Falz Solus with a team of 8 to complete new Limited-time Tasks. Complete Tasks to earn Reward Box Medal – Solus ’26. The 14-star Leafladio weapon series will be upgradeable 14-star Rarity Arbaradio weapon series, ad the Spradiovolt II items needed for the upgrade can be acquired from Limited-time Quests.
On April 7, Major Target Suppression Mission: Luther, False Conqueror Manifest will become available featuring Malignant Ruine Luther. Players will fail the quest if they reach a set number of incapacitations in this challenging quest, but those who complete the quest may also complete Weekly Tasks and a Title Task for more rewards, including SG and N-Master Cubes.
Super Origin Festival ’26 will begin on April 22 and introduce anniversary-themed decorations to Central City and Region Mags. Anni Rappy and Emperappy will also appear on the field, and Xiemi will return with her form-fitting hooded dress. Xiemi will offer rewards in return for completing her requests. There also be Limited-time Tasks with rewards like TA Customization Disc X/Omni, N-Master Cubes, and Arms Refiner II.

Dark Horse has announced that it will release a The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom artbook, titled “Secrets of the Zonai.” Two editions of it will release on October 20, 2026 for both $59.99 and $119.99, respectively.
The first of the two editions is a standard edition, which just includes the book itself and costs $59.99. The second, titled the “Hero’s Edition,” costs $119.99 and includes an exclusive cover, a map of the Depths printed on cloth, an art print of Link and the Sages, and a beautiful replica of the Secret Stone of Time. Both are available to order now via Dark Horse, which describes it as follows:

ZA/UM has announced that ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies will release for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG on May 21. It will launch at a later date for PlayStation 5.
The game will release with full English voice-over and text localisation in four languages: German, Spanish (Latin America), Chinese (Simplified) and Russian.
