Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition Confirms Nintendo Switch 2 Performance

Bandai Namco has revealed the performance that the Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition will have on the Nintendo Switch 2. It will be available on the platform on May 22. 

According to a statement on the Tales of Arise website, the game will feature 60 FPS only during event scenes. Fields, battles, and skits will all be in 30 FPS. Further, the game is 1080p in docked and handheld modes. There is no HDR support and 32 save slots (two for auto-saves and 14 manual saves for game and expansion each). Finally, the file size is roughly 54 GB. 

Tales of Arise initially launched in 2021, with the Beyond the Dawn DLC released in 2023. This version of the game will include the Tales of Arise base game, the Beyond the Dawn expansion, and additional content, including Special Data, Travel Support Pack, Free Update Battle Contents, Additional Difficulties, Atelier Sophie 2 Collaboration Costumes, SNX Collaboration Pack, and more. Both a physical edition (Game-Key Card) and a digital edition are confirmed for the game. Pre-orders are now open at the Bandai Namco Store.

Tales of Arise follows Alphen and Shionne on an adventure to free the planet from 300 years of suffering. The game features a real-time action combat system with high-quality visuals. This joins Tales of Xillia RemasteredTales of Berseria Remastered, and Tales of Graces f Remastered as part of the recent slate of Tales of releases. 

Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition launches for Nintendo Switch 2 on May 22, 2026. The game will be priced at $49.99 in the United States.
