Utawarerumono: Past and Present Rediscovered Gets a Monochrome Mobius Summary Manga

AQUAPLUS has released a new manga ahead of the release of Utawarerumono: Past and Present Rediscovered, summarizing the events of Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten. The Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten manga is 33 pages long and was illustrated by @curr_y_ume. Currently, the Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten manga is not available in English, but the game fortunately is available on Steam worldwide.

Utawarerumono: Past and Present Rediscovered will release on May 28 for PC via Steam, day-and-date with the Japanese release for Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5. However, the Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 versions were not confirmed for the west at the time of this writing.

Pearl Abyss has released the version 1.07.00 update for open-world action-adventure game Crimson Desert, which adds more Rematch bosses and applies numerous bug fixes. As previously announced, the new Rematch feature lets Crimson Desert players revisit bosses these faced in the game to test out their skills.

Starforge Systems has launched its new PC collection range centered around the anime adaptation of Hyuganatsu’s The Apothecary Diaries light novel series. The Starforge Systems The Apothecary Diaries Collection includes the newly released APNX V2-F line of cases with artwork from the TV anime while spotlighting the PC’s illuminated interior components.

The Apothecary Diaries PC bundle will be part of the limited-time Starforge Systems’ Memorial Day Sale as well. 

The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 will premiere in October 2026 with a two-cour run. The third season’s second cour will follow up in April 2027, and a new original anime film was announced for December 2026. What’s more, the new anime film includes a new story written by Hyuganatsu.

Hyuganatsu writes the original The Apothecary Diaries light novel series, with illustrations by Toko Shino. The novel made its debut on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in October 2011. Nekokurage later released an ongoing manga adaptation in Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan magazine in May 2017.

Gundam Series is Getting a hololive ‘Special Collaboration Project’

One of the major announcements from Gundam Conference Spring 2026 is a special collaboration project between the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise and hololive Production. There will be exclusive Gundam that will be produced in partnership with hololive.

Various mobile suits  and designs were revealed for participating hololive VTubers, including Oozora Subaru, Usada Pekora, Tsunomaki Watame, Mori Calliope, IRyS, Todoroki Hajime, Shirakami Fubuki, Sakura Miko, Hoshimachi Suisei, Houshou Marine, Hakui Koyori, and Rindou Chisato. 

The Gundam Conference Spring 2026 event also announced that the first GUNDAM-Con event will be held in January 2027 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, which is the annual home of Tokyo Game Show. According to Bandai Namco, GUNDAM-Con will be held at various locations around the world after the January 2027 Chiba event. 

The “A Boy With Gundam” short prologue movie was also released to highlight a young boy’s connection with the Gundam franchise, which only continues to blossom as he grows older. A new Mobile Suit Gundam 50th anniversary remaster is also in the works for a 2029 release.

Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway The Sorcery of Nymph Circe is now playing theaters in the U.S. with English subtitles (Japanese voice-overs) and an English dub. Participating theaters will offer fans 1 of 3 exclusive collective cards while supplies last. The cards highlight the designs of the Xi Gundam and the RX-104FF Penelope.

Blue Archive Confirms Anime Expo 2026 Plans, Steam Deck and Controller Support

NEXON has announced its Anime Expo 2026 plans for anime-style RPG mobile game Blue Archive, along with Steam Deck and controller support with the May 26 in-game update. The latest news was revealed at the Blue Archive 4.5th Anniversary “Kivotos Live” Broadcast, which was hosted by Executive Project Director Kim Yongha and Deputy Project Director Lee Junho.

During Anime Expo 2026, NEXON will be hosting a special Blue Archive panel session on Friday, July 3, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:50 p.m. PDT at Petree Hall. An official livestream will also be held through the Blue Archive YouTube channel. There will also be interactive on-site activities, including new rewards, and merchandise zone experiences at the South Hall at Booth SH-2220.

“Thanks to the unwavering support from our Senseis around the world, Blue Archive has reached its global 4.5th anniversary milestone,” said Kim Yongha, Executive Project Director of Blue Archive and Head of NEXON Games’ IO Division. “We are preparing a variety of updates and online/offline experiences so players can continue to enjoy the unique emotions and memories that define Blue Archive, and we appreciate your continued interest and support”

Yostar has announced that the Azur Lane mobile game will be hosting a NieR: Automata collaboration event, at long last. More details about the Azur Lane and NieR: Automata collaboration will be revealed soon, so stay tuned.

 

Previously, Square Enix released a new video and key art highlighting the iconography of NieR: Automata and its fame 9 years after the game’s release in 2017. The video ends with the statement “NieR: Automata to be continued…” hinting that the story of 2B, 9S, and A2 may not be over yet. Dragon Quest and NieR series producer Yosuke Saito had already teased that Square is preparing “a little something” for the 9th anniversary of NieR: Automata in 2026.  

NieR: Automata is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Additionally, NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139, which initially released in 2021, is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Sales of NieR: Automata have surpassed 10 million units in total, which include both digital and physical copies. NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 has sold over 2 million copies worldwide. 

Azur Lane is available now for Android and iOS. Fans can also look forward to the the second season of the Azur Lane Slow Ahead! short anime series, which premieres on July 5. Shunji Maki directs the anime this season at CANDY BOX. Yū Satō writes the series scripts with Hotaru Asafuji. Nana Mori is the character designer and chief animation director for the second season. Fūga Hatori is the music composer, and Masanori Tsuchiya is the sound director. The first season of Azur Lane: Slow Ahead! is streaming on Crunchyroll.

The recent Gundam Conference Spring 2026 has revealed that a “remaster project” of the original Mobile Suit Gundam anime will release in 2029. The release will commemorate the franchise’s 50th anniversary.

The film grossed approximately 2.63 billion yen ($16.3 million) at the Japan box office.

Nintendo has released a new trailer for Yoshi and the Mysterious Book titled “An Appetite for Discovery.” The trailer showcases more of its gameplay before it launches on May 21. 

The latest trailer highlights how Yoshi can interact with the creatures around him and utilize their abilities to progress. Yoshi and the Mysterious Book launches on May 21 for Nintendo Switch 2 for $59.99 digitally via the Nintendo eShop and $69.99 physically. The physical copy will feature the game’s full data on the cartridge. Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is one of the first games to reflect Nintendo’s new pricing model for digital games.
