Santa Monica has announced God of War Sons of Sparta, a new 2D action platformer, for PlayStation 5 and revealed its available today. Additionally, it revealed that full scale remakes of the original God of War trilogy are in development.
While little details about the God of War Trilogy Remake are known, the first teaser trailer revealed a message from TC Carlson, the original voice of Kratos. He will reprise his role for the remake, and likely record new lines for it. Check out the first teaser trailer for God of War Remake Trilogy below:
TC Carlson also reprises his role in Sons of Sparta, a passion project from Mega Cat Studios and Santa Monica. Mega Cat previously worked on Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit. Two editions of Sons of Sparta are available. The standard edition costs $29.99, while the deluxe edition costs $39.99. The latter includes a digital artbook, digital soundtrack, spear attachment, enhance material, unstable gemstone, blood orbs, and PlayStation Network avatars.
