Razer is back with a sleek and stylish collaboration with HoYoverse’s urban fantasy action RPG Zenless Zone Zero, featuring a emphasis on tactile functionality. The Razer | Zenless Zone Zero collection features designs based on Hoshimi Miyabi, the S-Rank Frost and Anomaly Agent and the Chief of Hollow Special Operations Section 6. HoYoverse and Zenless Zone Zero fans have plenty of new gear to add to their evolving PC gaming setup, including a new Razer BlackWidow V4 X keyboard, Gigantus V2 Medium mousepad, and Cobra gaming mice.
Leading the charge of the new collection is the Razer BlackWidow V4 X Zenless Zone Zero Edition (MSRP $189.99) with tactile and clicky Razer Green mechanical switches. This is my first time using tactile green switches, and I can definitely say that Razer BlackWidow V4 X Zenless Zone Zero Edition left a great first impression. The tactile switches make each key press feel very light and satisfying thanks to the physical and audible click with each press. The doubleshot ABS keycaps are the standard and they feel seamless to the touch.
Each full-sized BlackWidow V4 keyboard comes with six dedicated macro keys and a multi-function roller that gives you easy access to volume and other media-based features under your discretion. The icy blue and sleek black color scheme of the keyboard pairs well with the silver accents and stylish designs representing Miyabi. Miyabi is locked in on the spacebar as well, reading her sight for a follow-up attack. Of course, the keyboard’s RGB lighting can be controlled and changed to your lighting in the Razer Chroma software, which remains quick and easy to use.
Although I prefer smaller keyboards, including 60% and TKL, Razer BlackWidow V4 X Zenless Zone Zero Edition doesn’t intrude in my all-black setup, and it actually matches quite nicely. The keyboard’s finish keeps fingerprints away as well, so I’m quite pleased with the overall build quality. $189.99 can be quite pricey for a wired mechanical keyboard, but I think Razer delivered a robust keyboard that looks and feels worth the price.
Every keyboard needs a mouse, and as recent releases have shown, the tried-and-true Razer Cobra gaming mouse gets the job done. Razer Cobra Zenless Zone Zero Edition carries the same attributes as previous iterations of the mouse, including the recent Gengar Edition mouse. Featuring a right-handed symmetrical design, the Razer Cobra is equipped with a 8,500 DPI sensor with multiple settings, third-gen optical mouse switches rated at 90 million clicks, two light blue side buttons, and a durable, braided Speedflex cable.
Like its previous editions, Cobra Zenless Zone Zero Edition weighs just 58 grams, or just over 2 ounces. It’s extremely lightweight and smooth as it glides, bringing an almost “weightless” sensation. Although the DPI is modest for what’s offered in gaming mice these days, the Razer Cobra offers more than enough for both competitive and casual gamers at its 1000Hz polling rate., especially in shooters like Battlefield 6. Undoubtedly, the $59.99 price point makes it one of the best value propositions of the Zenless Zone Zero collection.
Like the Razer BlackWidow V4, the Razer Cobra is compatible with Razer Synapse and Chroma. This gives users options over macros, customizable lighting, DPI stages, and much more. I don’t often use Synapse to edit settings for either product, since the out-of-box profiles are already great what most gamers need, myself included.
The Razer | Zenless Zone Zero collection offers the special edition Razer Cobra with a Gigantus V2 Medium mouse pad, featuring an accurately illustrated depiction of Miyabi, for $89.98. The mouse pad’s cloth surface is smooth, comfortable, and consistent from each end. Although the mouse pad is designated as a “Medium” size, it’s actually quite large and lets you glide the mouse a considerable distance if needed. There’s more than enough room to move your arm on it, and it’s small enough to fit on any desk.
I certainly recommend these products from the Zenless Zone Zero collection, as they provide incredible value for any setup. Razer designed a keyboard and mouse combo that can synergize quite well as your daily drivers. These thoughtful designs are worthwhile for any Zenless Zone Zero fan wanting to spruce up their setup with some New Eridu swagger. Above all else, the Razer | Zenless Zone Zero collection is priced competitively, offering bang for your buck without compromising on quality and functionality.
The Razer | Zenless Zone Zero collection is available now at Razer.com, and it will grow with a new special edition of the Razer Iskur V2 X gaming chair. Final Weapon previously reviewed the Light Gray colorway of the Razer Iskur V2 X, which was released for $299.99.
