Not only did EPOMAKER focus on making a durable and sturdy keyboard with the performance you can expect from a competitive product, but it’s also stylish and convenient with its 75% layout and various features.
Each EPOMAKER TH80 V2 PRO unit comes in a modestly designed box, and unboxing this one was quite satisfying, since you’re greeted with a beautiful keyboard. The rock candy-like appearance of the dark PBT keycaps is one sight to behold, and the entire unit itself weighs just over 1 kg. It has a thick plastic shell, but it doesn’t feel cheap whatsoever. It has a sound-optimized structure with a PCB that offers extra flexibility, for example. The 75% layout is small enough to fit on most desks and have a lot of room to spare. That being said, the keyboard is quite flexible in what it can achieve.

The TH80 V2 PRO keyboard’s keycaps are grease resistant to ensure it looks clean and presentable at all times, and the included Creamy Jade switches have a satisfying and distinct sound that makes each key press satisfying and enjoyable. EPOMAKER also offers the keyboard with Sea Salt switches, which are very quiet with a low thud with each press. The adjustable kickstand and cushioned gasket-mount ensure your typing and gaming experience is comfortable and stress-free on your wrists as well. This is all while having a beautiful range of RGB working its magic as you type, but you can change the color settings yourself if you’d like with EPOMAKER’s free web software—no installation required.
There’s a 10000mAh battery in this keyboard, which might sound like overkill at first. However, for a wireless keyboard, this is perfect. The battery ensures there are 200+ hours of usage while in wireless mode—truly impressive to say the least. This keyboard is quite versatile, though. You can pair up to five devices with this single keyboard, thanks to its “triple mode” feature. A toggle near the USB-C port at the top of the keyboard allows you to pick between USB for traditional wired play, 2.4G for precise wireless play, and Bluetooth for that convenient versatility. A separate toggle also lets you switch between Windows and Mac usage, so no one is left out from a stellar keyboard here.
Despite its size, the TH80 V2 PRO keyboard has plenty of features, including a metal volume knob, integrated 1.06-inch glass screen, and the ability to connect wirelessly. You can use hold FN and the knob to toggle it for screen control or RGB settings changes. This knob also lets you jump through music playlists or trigger macros. The EPOMAKER web software offers custom key bindings, a macro manager, advanced key settings for enthusiasts, and key response levels. The glass screen will typically display the time/date and battery life, but you could also upload and display GIFs onto the screen via the free software as well.
With 2ms low latency and full anti-ghosting at 1K high polling, the TH80 V2 PRO gaming keyboard is high-performance keyboard that works well right out of the box—no additional features or settings need to be tweaked. The on-board memory of the TH80 V2 PRO can save your settings, including key map and macro settings, across multiple devices. These are features that don’t seem important in daily use, but when it matters, that low latency gives you an edge from fingertips to key press in your favorite games.
I’m not an expert in gaming keyboards, but I can safely say that the EPOMAKER TH80 V2 PRO is a complete keyboard. It’s a jack of all trades, but the master of none part doesn’t apply.
