    Final Fantasy 35th Anniversary news coming soon, several new Square Enix games to release in fiscal year 2023

    Square Enix shared their outlook for the fiscal year 2023 during an earnings call, stating several new games are releasing through the next year. The year is centered around major franchises such as Final Fantasy. In addition, the company plans to share more Final Fantasy 35th Anniversary news this month or the next (Thanks, David Gibson).

    Square Enix saw the new Final Fantasy XVI trailer with high expectations for the new game. Previously, producer Naoki Yoshida stated that the trailer is coming soon and the game is in the polishing phase. With Summer Game Fest and major events approaching in June, the next month could be very eventful for Square Enix.

    Kingdom Hearts IV and Kingdom Hearts: Missing-Link are also in development at Square Enix. These games usher in a new era for the series with the beginning of the Lost Master arc. Kingdom Hearts: Missing-Link gives insight into the period following the events of Kingdom Hearts Union Cross and the founding of Scala ad Caelum.

    Other major games are approaching fast from Square Enix such as the LIVE A LIVE remake and Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis. The latter is expected to release before the end of September 2022.
