Witch on the Holy Night Surpasses 200,000 Copies Sold

Type-Moon has announced that Witch on the Holy Night has surpassed 200,000 copies sold worldwide. This update came from the Fate/Grand Order livestream, which detailed the new Witch on the Holy Night collaboration that began today. Previously, an update was provided last July that the game surpassed 150,000 copies sold.

Witch on the Holy Night released for PS4 and Switch on December 8, 2022. A Steam version was released last year. This localized version of Witch on the Holy Night includes full voice acting, HD visuals, and remastered audio. English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese are all supported. Additionally, a Witch on the Holy Night anime film is currently in production. Studio ufotable is responsible for the animation of this film. The studio has a long-standing relationship with Type-Moon, being responsible for the production of Fate/ZeroFate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, and the Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel movie trilogy. Additionally, ufotable animated eight the Garden of Sinners movies. Alongside their Type-Moon works, the company is also known for their work on Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

A release date or staff has yet to be confirmed as of the latest trailer. It’s yet to be seen if this project will end up being multiple films or just one, but based on the source material, it seems likely at least one more film will follow the first.

Witch on the Holy Night is available now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. Currently, the game is on sale across all platforms.
