Type-Moon has announced that the HD remaster of Witch on the Holy Night has sold over 150,000 copies. This comes around 7 months after the release of the HD remaster, which included a full voice cast for the very first time.
Additionally, this was the first Type-Moon visual novel to be released in the West. After many years of fan demand, Witch on the Holy Night was released simultaneously in the West and in Japan on December 8, 2022.
Witch on the Holy Night Passes 150,000 Sold Copies
This is the latest update about the title since around launch, where it was revealed that it sold 110,000 copies in four days. This is an increase of 40,000 units since then, which is great for a remaster like Witch on the Holy Night.
The game also only launched on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, skipping the PC market like Steam entirely. Regardless, 150,000 copies sold is impressive for a title of this caliber. This has also surely granted the Tsukihime localization, set to arrive next year on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
As a celebration of the new sales landmark, Witch on the Holy Night is now on sale across both Switch and PS4. This sale is 25% off, putting the game at $29.99 digitally.
