Aniplex and Type-Moon have finally released the PC (Steam) version of visual novel Witch on the Holy Night. The Steam version released almost exactly one year after the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.

This past January, Aniplex and Type-Moon released the physical Limited Edition of Witch on the Holy Night for Nintendo Switch. The physical release includes various goodies, including a gift box and material book. The PC version was confirmed at Aniplex Online Fest 2023 with an exciting trailer, and the wait is finally over today.

Witch on the Holy Night Finally Lands on Steam

Like the console versions, the Steam version of Witch on the Holy Night features fully voiced characters, remastered HD visuals, and improved audio quality. Moreover, the game supports English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese text options with Japanese voice-overs. These improvements make Witch on the Holy Night a stunning visual novel, as noted in Final Weapon’s review of the Nintendo Switch version. It’s worth noting that Witch on the Holy Night is not Steam Deck verified, but it should still work well on the handheld. Further, a 10% launch discount for Witch on the Holy Night is now live until December 21, bringing the price down to $35.99.

Here’s an overview of Witch on the Holy Night:

Story

In the mansion on the hill, there lived two witches…

It is the late 1980s—the twilight of an era of beauty and vigor.
A boy moves to the city, barely missing two witches living in modern times.

The boy leads a completely ordinary life.
She carries herself with gallant pride.
The girl lives a sleepy, hidden life.

Each walks a starlit path.
One would never expect their paths to cross.
The story of how these three disparate people came together is soon to be told.

Witch on the Holy Night returns 10 years after its original 2012 release, further refined with fully voiced characters and a full HD visual remaster.
