Kingdom Hearts IV features “Lost Masters” antagonist group, similar to Organization XIII

In the Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary edition of Famitsu, director Tetsuya Nomura shared some new details for Kingdom Hearts IV. According to Nomura, the Lost Master Arc refers to multiple Masters. There is an antagonist group of “Lost Masters” similar to the prominent Organization XIII from the Dark Seeker Saga. With the exception of Luxu, 5 masters (The Foretellers) have disappeared and its unknown whether they will appear in Kingdom Hearts IV. The identity of the girl who knows Quadratum (Nameless Star) is suggested to be a character from Verum Rex.

Nomura confirms scenario writers for the game including himself, Akiko Ishibashi and Oka Masaru. Ishibashi worked on the scenario for NEO: The World Ends With You. More details about KH IV will be shared farther along in development so fans shouldn’t expect any news for a while. KH IV will be shown off in Unreal Engine 5 when the time comes.
