Kagurabachi Episode 1 to be Previewed at Anime Expo 2026 in ‘Anime World Tour’

CyberAgent and Shochiku have announced that the Kagurabachi Anime World Tour will kick off with an exclusive preview of the first 20 minutes of episode 1 at Anime Expo 2026. Preview screenings will also be held at Anime NYC 2026, Japan Expo Paris, and AnimagiC in “Part 1” of the Kagurabachi Anime World Tour.

Some of the Kagurabachi Anime World Tour events will host special panel sessions featuring Chihiro Rokuhira voice actor Taihi Kimura, the producers of the anime, and the editor/cross-media producer of the manga. Kagurabachi is getting a television anime adaptation in April 2027. The anime will star Taihi Kimura as Chihiro Rokuhira. Tetsuya Takeuchi directs the Kagurabachi anime at studio Cypic, and Keigo Sasaki handles the character design. Shochiku and CyberAgent are on the production committee.

Takeru Hokazono first released the Kagurabachi manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in September 2023. Shueisha published the manga’s 11th compiled volume in Japan on May 1. The manga has enjoyed massive success and has 4 million copies in circulation.

EA Sports FC Releases New The World's Game Update

EA has announced that a new update for both EA Sports FC Mobile and EA Sports FC 26, called The World’s Game Update, will release on June 4. The update, as the name implies, adds a new mode titled The World’s Game.

According to patch notes, the World’s Game mode offers the following:

The Journey to Glory: Choose from over 50 national teams, including Brazil, England, and more. Access the tournament directly from the Football Center or the Home screen.
Total Customization: Choose your difficulty, browse detailed team lineups, and even customize your tournament schedule before kicking off.
Immersive Experience: Enjoy new opening cinematic videos, team showcases, and “The World’s Game” themed interface and broadcast packages.
Cinematic Rewards: Whether you win a single-match or two-leg knockout, celebrate your victory with new Champion videos and shareable championship images.
Flexibility: Can’t finish the run? Use the “Withdraw” feature to forfeit and kick off a new tournament at a later time.

A press release further explains the mode, stating “The World’s Game gives fans the opportunity to lead their nation to glory, create their own football lore, and rewrite history. Newly announced licensing partnerships with Brazil, Spain, and Portugal, allowing players to represent some of the world’s most iconic footballing nations with official kits, crests, and player likenesses.”

SEGA has announced that a new NIJISANJI and NIJISANJI EN collaboration is now live in Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis with the game’s latest update. The update marks the fourth NIJISANJI collaboration with Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis, bringing four more Virtual Livers to the free-to-play online action RPG. A new collaboration visual by designer Inooka was also released to kick off the update.

Players can draw from AC Scratch Ticket: Virtual Liver Style ’26 to earn avatar items and cosplay as NIJISANJI Virtual Livers Igarashi Rika, Meloco Kyoran, Kuramochi Meruto, and Sophia Valentine. There are also Voice Tickets for each Virtual Liver, ARKS ID backgrounds, voiced Stamps, and Body Pillow Weapon Camos. What’s more, a new limited-time login bonus event is live in Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis with new rewards, including Build Parts inspired by the Virtual Livers.

The latest update also marks the beginning of the Shin Super Origin Festival, a celebration of the game’s 5th anniversary. Central City and the Region Mags are decorated for the occasion, and players can find flocks of Ceremo Rappy and Ceremo Emperappy roaming Halpha. Warner Bros Games has announced that LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will release on September 18 Nintendo Switch 2. It is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

Additionally, the Nintendo eShop page is open for pre-orders, with The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit available as a pre-order bonus. It is available for $69.99 as a digital edition which can be pre-loaded before the release. Alongside its launch, a “Mayhem Collection” DLC will be available on all platforms, which gives players the ability to play as Joker and Harley Quinn.
