CD Projekt Red and Milan Records have released the first music track for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, titled “You Can’t Run From Me.” Artist Rico Nasty performs the song, created specifically for Edgerunners 2

The “high-octane track” utilizes heavy guitars, industrial synth sounds, and “Rico Nasty’s signature rage-infused vocals.” It initially appeared in the first trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, which released on June 29. It featured a look at “Night City at its most brutal,” as well as music from Tsuneo Imahori. The first Edgerunners 2 track is available to stream everywhere now.

The cast of the anime, so far, is as follows:

  • Clancy Brown/Kentaro Tone as Weak
    • “Once known as “King,” a veteran edgerunner at the top of his game, Weak now lives in the shadow of his former glory.”
  • Nazeeh Tarsha/Koki Uchiyama as D
    • “A Snake Nation netrunner with sharp technical skills and a sharper hunger for revenge, D hunts the killer who wiped out his clan.”
  • Kimoy Lee/Akari Kito as Talia
    • “Raised in corpo towers but hardened in Maelstrom’s grip, Talia is fiercely independent and steeped in the gang’s hyper-violent, chrome-obsessed culture.”
  • Valeria Rodriguez/Momoka Terasawa as Roman Carax
    • “Roman Carax is a young cinephile chasing real stories in a city that’s abandoned film for braindance. Obsessed with documenting truth, he shadows the lives of others — only to learn that unlike his favorite reels, Night City’s stories are messy, brutal, and rarely tied up with a clean ending.”

This week, at Anime Expo 2026, a panel dedicated to Edgerunners 2 will take place on July 3 at 7:30 p.m. PDT from the Crypto.com Arena. Lastly, Danny Motta and feature director Kai Ikarashi, showrunner Bartosz Sztybor, executive producer Saya Elder, and other special guests will host the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 Anime Expo 2026 panel.
