Players will be able to try the controller out for themself with the upcoming release of Halo: Campaign Evolved, launching for Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam on July 28. It will also release on PlayStation 5. Pre-orders are now live. Recently, in a community Q&A on its website ahead of Halo: Campaign Evolved‘s release, Halo Studios revealed that a Microsoft account and Xbox gamertag will both be required in order to play the game. An account will be necessary for all aspects, including for local split-screen multiplayer. Additionally, players on PlayStation 5 will need two PlayStation accounts, alongside a Microsoft account, for split-screen.
