Following the recent Shin Megami Tensei IV event, Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation Dx2 has launched a new collaboration event with the TV anime adaptation of Takeshi Okano and Shō Makura’s Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube manga. The Hell Teacher collaboration adds playable characters Meisuke Nueno, Yukime, and Kyousuke Tamamo, and they’re available in Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation Dx2 until December 17.
The first cour of the Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube anime series is currently streaming, and the second cour will premiere in January 2026. THE ORAL CIGARETTES will perform the opening theme song “ERASE,” while Ayumu Imazu performs the ending theme song “MAGICAL.”
More details about the second cour of Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube will be announced during the anime’s Jump Festa 2026 stage event on December 21 at 12:50 p.m. JST. Guests for the panel include Ryotaro Okiayu (voice of Meisuke Nueno), Ryoko Shiraishi (voice of Hiroshi Tateno), Aya Suzaki (voice of Kyoko Inaba) and Tomoyo Kurosawa (voice of Miki Hosokawa).
Yasuyuki Ōishi directs the anime at Studio KAI, with Fumito Yamada as the assistant director. Yū Yoshiyama handles the character design, Yoshiki Ōkusa is the head writer, and Evan Call composes the music.
Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation Dx2 is free-to-play on iOS and Android worldwide.
