“It’s a true honor to have created the opening theme for Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube, a series I’ve been watching since childhood,” THE ORAL CIGARETTES said in a press release. “The world of Nube shares a lot of similarities with our own musical world, so we were able to approach the song head-on and honestly. Just as Nube saves his students from the darkness, I believe music exists to help people through the darkness they can’t escape alone. That feeling is poured into this song—so please enjoy it alongside the series!”

“I’m truly honored to have written the ending theme for Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei
Nube,” said Ayumu Imazu. “With this beloved Heisei-era series returning in the Reiwa era, I crafted ‘MAGICAL’ to carry a nostalgic, city-pop-inspired sound that also feels warm and familiar. I hope it resonates with both longtime fans and new audiences alike!”

Trailers highlighting the theme songs of the second cour of Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube will likely be released at a later date.

The second cour of Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube will premiere in January 2026, and more details will be announced during the anime’s Jump Festa 2026 stage event on December 21 at 12:50 p.m. JST. Guests for the panel include Ryotaro Okiayu (voice of Meisuke Nueno), Ryoko Shiraishi (voice of Hiroshi Tateno), Aya Suzaki (voice of Kyoko Inaba) and Tomoyo Kurosawa (voice of Miki Hosokawa).

Yasuyuki Ōishi directs the anime at Studio KAI, with Fumito Yamada as the assistant director. Yū Yoshiyama handles the character design, Yoshiki Ōkusa is the head writer, and Evan Call composes the music.

Lastly, here’s an overview, via the official website:

A number of inexplicable phenomena have been plaguing the town of Domori. To protect the town’s children, a new homeroom teacher, known as “Nube,” arrives. Normally gentle and a bit outgoing, Nube has a secret side: he is, in fact, the only psychic teacher in Japan.

Rumor also has it his left hand is possessed by a demon! Hell’s messenger of justice is here to confront the school’s seven mysteries, ghosts, and evil spirits that are attacking his students. This occultist action story starts now!
