Cat girl visual novel NekoMiko releases for Switch on December 5th

The Japanese eShop has revealed that NekoMiko is releasing for Switch in December 5th! This cat girl romance visual novel released worldwide for PC on January 24th earlier this year. Here’s an overview of the game thanks to Gematsu:

Nekofuku Shrine is a small shrine located in a corner of Akihabara. It is dedicated to two cats that are said to bring in good fortune and expel any misfortune.

The legend goes that two cats came to help the revival of the town after a huge fire burnt it down a long time ago. Although the ancient and honorable shrine has stood in a quiet side street of Akihabara for hundreds of years, its surroundings have developed, leaving it with no worshippers for many years.

One day, a very unfortunate young man came to visit the old shrine.

The two cat-eared girls in the appearance of shrine maidens, could not stand by and not greet their first worshipper for many years. Especially one riddled with such misfortune.

The two cat-eared girls start living with the young man to rid him of his misfortune, but…

It turns out that this is the start of a somewhat eventful and sexual cohabitation between the young man and the 2 cat-eared shrine maidens!

Yakuza: Like a Dragon – new jobs, Just Action System and battle techniques

SEGA has released new details for Yakuza: Like a Dragon! The new information includes more jobs for Ichiban, the Just Action System and more battle techniques. First up, Ichiban and other male characters have access to “Bouncer” and “Host” jobs:

The Bouncer is an attack-type job with a sword. Bleeding effects are active with the sword, leading to high damaging attacks. Demon Slash is a Kiwami skill accessible to this job.

The Host is another battle-style job that specializes in fighting with a sake battle. This job incorporates a lot of trick techniques with high reward. It’s possible to “attract” enemies and prevent them from attacking. The Host’s Kiwami Skill is Bubble Splash, a move where the player sprays an enemy with cold sake and gives them a cold status effect.

Next, the Just Action System is similar to that of the Heat System in previous Yakuza games. In certain Heat actions in the past, button input prompts would be displayed to finish or extend the move. For Yakuza: Like a Dragon, the Just Action System enables similar button prompts for special moves. More examples of the Just Action System in action may be found here.

Job: Part-Timer, Kiwami Skill: Full-Strength Punch:

Job: Hero, Kiwami Skill: Mega Swing

Battle Techniques in Yakuza: Like a Dragon may shift the tide of battle in Ichiban’s favor. Encroaching Attack blows enemies away and makes them hit other enemies in the process. However, the enemy’s way of flying back is different for each Kiwami Skill so be sure to use it properly depending on the situation.

Hit by a Car is pretty straightforward. This battle technique blows an enemy back into an oncoming car, dealing tons of damage. This move was in previous Yakuza games in similar Heat Moves. As expected, this move is useful when near a roadway.

Lastly, Yakuza 7 releases on January 16th 2020 for PS4 in Japan. Yakuza 7 releases as Yakuza: Like a Dragon in the west in 2020. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news.

  • There is an issue where when “War Maiden’s Costume” is worn together with “YoRHa Unit Number Two Standard Armor (COLOR2)” or “YoRHa Unit Number Two Skirtless (COLOR2)”, the parts sink very deep into the body of the character wearing them. We will fix this issue by disallowing to wear these parts together.

It will be the same setting as the (COLOR1) version.

  • We will fix an issue where some arm parts would not be displayed properly when they are worn together with “Purge Half-Armor”.

  • With this update, “Rubber Mask” and “Destruction Mask” will not be able to be worn together.
