Yakuza: Like a Dragon – Gangster and Military enemies, new summons

SEGA has released new details regarding Yakuza: Like a Dragon! The new information includes Gangster and Military enemies as well as new summons Ichiban may use in the game.

Two types of enemies found in Yakuza: Like a Dragon are Gangsters and Military families. Gangsters range from Color Gangster to Gangster Boss.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon

Lower leveled Gangsters only fight with fists but higher leveled Gangster wield firearms which may cause high damage. Gunfire can’t be defended against so its important to wield the right equipment and recovery items before battle.

Military enemies range from Military Otaku (yes, this is a Yakuza game after all) to Armynater. These enemies wield bow guns and kukri knives, experts in both close and ranged combat.

Higher leveled military enemies may use grenades, powerful bow gun shots and even laser beams from their eyes!

Two new summons were detailed including Kiyoe Shirakawa and Striking Falcon. Kiyoe Shirakawa’s summon skill is “Madonna’s Cooking,” a pork soup recovery move that heals MP to all characters in the party.

Striking Falcon’s summon skill is “Idaten Dance,” an attack where Striking Falcon mows down enemies with his motorcycle with a chance of inflicting a heat damage status aliment.

Onechanbara Origin – third trailer

D3 Publisher has released a new trailer for Onechanbara Origin! The latest trailer showcases the remake compared to both the original Onechanbara game and Onechanbara 2 from the PS2. The trailer also introduces new features and updates added to the remake. Here’s the latest trailer:

Atelier Fall Festival live stream airs on November 26th, includes new Atelier Ryza DLC gameplay

Koei Tecmo and Gust have announced that they will be hosting an Atelier Fall Festival stream on November 26th! The stream will include new details and gameplay of the upcoming Atelier Ryza DLC. In addition, the stream will include gameplay of Atelier Shallie DX and an upcoming Ryza event in Atelier Online. Gust also teases potential news of some ideas going into a brand new Atelier game in development. Overall, it should be an exciting time for Atelier fans! Rumor: Capcom to release Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake in 2020

Gematsu, Spawn Wave, and VGC have all shared that close sources are confirming Capcom is set to release a remake of the beloved Resident Evil 3: Nemesis in 2020.

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis was originally released in 1999 on the Sony PlayStation, and was later released on Microsoft Windows, Sega Dreamcast, and Nintendo Gamecube. The original 1999 PlayStation version of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis sold a grand total of 3.5 Million copies worldwide according to Capcom back in 2008.

This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone, as Capcom released a remake of Resident Evil 2 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam on January 25th, 2019.

Persona 5 Royal announcement for the west coming on December 3rd

Atlus has officially announced that more news for Persona 5 Royal will be given on December 3rd. The official website has also been given a countdown timer to when the announcement will officially commence.

Officially released by Atlus, the post says “To all phantom thieves in the making in the West: you have 12 days until we expose the truth of Persona 5 Royal once and for all.”

The game released in Japan in October of 2019 and is due out Spring 2020 here in the west – could this announcement bring with it an official release date? We’ll see!

Half-Life: Alyx releases in March 2020 for SteamVR, new trailer

Valve has uploaded their new trailer for Half Life: Alyx which releases for SteamVR in March 2020. This is Valve’s return to the Half-Life series in many years since the release of the Orange Box collection in 2007. Here’s an overview of the game and trailer:

Half-Life: Alyx is Valve’s VR return to the Half-Life series. It’s the story of an impossible fight against a vicious alien race known as the Combine, set between the events of Half-Life and Half-Life 2. Playing as Alyx Vance, you are humanity’s only chance for survival.

Trover Saves the Universe Versions Announced for Switch and Xbox One.

Trover Saves the Universe is coming to the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on two separate occasions.  The news was made official on the game’s official website. The Nintendo Switch version of the game will be released on November 28th.  While the Xbox One version would then follow shortly after, with a release date of December 3rd.

The comedic adventure game was developed by Squanch Games and comes straight out the weird mind of Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland.  It was originally released for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam on May 31st.  The game is also available to play in Virtual Reality.  Specifically PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive, respectively.

Roiland also announced via an interview with IGN, that each version of the game will be discounted for Black Friday.  The PlayStation 4 and PC versions will be 30% off.  While the new Switch and Xbox One versions will be 20% off.

Langrisser I & II releases on March 10th 2020 in North America, March 13th for Europe

NIS America has announced that Langrisser I & II Remakes are heading to the west on March 10th next year! The games release on March 13th in Europe and the 20th in Australia and New Zealand. Here’s the latest trailer comparing the remade RPGs to their original SEGA Genesis versions:
