Godzilla Minus Zero First Look Teaser Trailer Released

Godzilla Minus Zero First Look Teaser Trailer Released

TOHO has released the “first look” teaser trailer for Godzilla Minus Zero during CinemaCon 2026. It will premiere in North America on November 6 and in Japan on November 3.

The trailer confirms that Ryûnosuke Kamiki and Minami Hamabe will reprise their roles as Kôichi Shikishima and Noriko Ôishi, respectively. It also hints at Godzilla’s increased size, his presence in New York, and the inclusion of a potentially new Kaiju. Further, it takes place two years after the event of Godzilla Minus One. More details about the film will release at a later date. Check out the first teaser trailer for Godzilla Minus Zero below:

Takashi Yamazaki will return to direct the sequel, with TOHO producing it. Shirogumi will be in charge of the VFX. The logo for Godzilla Minus Zero depicts a different variation of the “G” in the key art, with many speculating that it is depicting a woman praying, or that it could be alluding to the beloved monster, Hedorah.

An article from The Hollywood Reporter reports that “the new film is being positioned not just as a sequel but as a statement piece.” The company will reveal more details about the cast and story at a later date.  Godzilla Minus One is available now for streaming on Netflix. The black and white version, Godzilla Minus Color, is also accessible on the service.

Additionally, a sequel to the equally beloved Shin Godzilla is in development. Last year, GKIDS re-released the movie in theaters. The official website of the film describes Shin Godzilla as follows:

Something has surfaced in Tokyo Bay. As the Prime Minister of Japan pleads with the public to remain calm, a horrific creature of tremendous size makes landfall in the city, leaving death and destruction in its wake. Then it evolves. The government assembles a motley task force to combat the monster when an envoy from the US Department of State delivers a folder of classified documents. On its cover is written: “GODZILLA.”

During Sony Pictures Entertainment’s CinemaCon panel, the company revealed that filming for The Legend of Zelda movie has wrapped. The film will release in theaters on May 7, 2027.

While the panel didn’t reveal any new details about the film’s story, nor did it confirm any new cast members, more news will likely surface soon considering that it will soon start post-production. It will star Bo Bragason as Zelda and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link. Previously, Shigeru Miyamoto showcased the official designs for both characters via a social media post

Link’s design features his iconic green tunic, minus the classic hat. He also has blonde hair, which separates him from previous designs in the franchise. Zelda has her blue outfit from Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom, as well as her brown-haired look from Twilight Princess. The reveal came after set leaks that hinted at the designs for Link and Zelda, plus the inclusion of a figure who appears to be Impa, played by Dichen Lachman.

Wes Ball directs the upcoming live-action The Legend of Zelda movie. In the past, Ball directed The Maze Runner franchise and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. The movie is produced by Arad Productions, known for its work on Spider-Man: Across the Spider-VerseKraven the HunterSpider-Man: HomecomingUncharted, and the upcoming Metal Gear Solid film. Nintendo is co-financing the film with Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Lastly, according to new reports from Video Games Chronicle and credible leaker Natethehate, a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will release in 2026. The most recent Nintendo film adaptation, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, is available to watch now in theaters.

Fire Emblem Shadows Adds Book 3 Chapters 3 & 4 and Ananke: Ms. Popular

Nintendo has released a new update for Fire Emblem Shadows, which adds Book 3 Chapters 3 & 4. It also features a new disciple, Ananke: Ms. Popular.

Madeline Dorroh voices Ananke. She wields Dual Invigorate EX, Dark Tetraregen, Cross Regen, and Dark Poison +. New battle rewards are also available, which will grant souls that can be used to unlock Ananke: Ms. Popular. The new Book 3 Chapters continues the game’s narrative, and highlights characters such as Rusty, Perenna, and Ananke herself. Check out the trailer showcasing the new update for Fire Emblem Shadows below:

Lastly, Fire Emblem Shadows is available now on iOS and Android. Here’s an overview of the game, via Nintendo and the game’s respective store pages (Google Play, App Store):

The gameplay of Fire Emblem Shadows combines real-time strategy and social deduction. One of the three allies participating in each battle is secretly a treacherous disciple of shadow. Players choose to take on the role of either a disciple of light, aiming to find their way through the labyrinth, or a disciple of shadow.

After the initial battle, players vote to determine who they believe is the treacherous disciple of shadow. The outcome of the vote affects whether the next battle is more favorable or more challenging. Whether the disciples of light can correctly discover the traitor—or the disciple of shadow can successfully deceive the others—holds the key to how the next battle unfolds.

Consider the ally to your left and the one to your right. One of the three of you will betray the others. Can you manage real-time strategy and social deduction at the same time?
