MAPPA released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Chainsaw Man Assassins Arc anime and announced the anime’s main staff members. A release date for the new anime was not confirmed.
Tatsuya Yoshihara returns as director of the new anime at MAPPA.

In the meantime, fans can catch up with Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc on digital. Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is also streaming on Crunchyroll with English subs and an English dub.
The movie initially opened on September 19, 2025 in Japan and September 24 internationally. The movie opened with early theatrical screenings on October 22, 2025 in the U.S, followed by the premiere on October 24 in the U.S. and Canada with English dubs and English subs with Japanese voice-overs.
Kenshi Yonezu performs the Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc opening theme song “IRIS OUT” and ending theme song “JANE DOE feat. Hikaru Utada.” An exclusive vinyl edition for these songs are available to pre-order at participating retailers. Maximum The Hormone performs the the insert song “Hawatari Nioku Centi [2-hundred-million-Centimeter-long-blades] (70% Unlocked edit).”
