NetEase has released a new trailer for Marvel Rivals, showcasing the first look at gameplay for the game’s next character: Elsa Bloodstone. The character will be available on February 13 alongside Season 6.5.

Unlike the character addition for Season 6, Deadpool, Elsa Bloodstone is a far more obscure character. First created in 2001, she exists in the darker parts of the Marvel Universe as an expert on monster hunting. She has worked with characters such as Blade, Ghost Rider, Iron Fist, Man-Thing, Moon Knight, and the Werewolf by Night. She also appeared in the live-action Werewolf by Night Marvel Studios Special Presentation, where Laura Donnelly depicted the character. Here, she will be a duelist capable of using two different weapons and summoning a monster in combat.

Season 6.5 will add new team-up abilities between the Invisible Woman/Doctor Strange, Deadpool/Elsa Bloodstone/Jeff the Land Shark, Hulk/Black Panther, and Rocket Raccoon/Star Lord. New events will be available during the season as well, which celebrate Valentine’s Day and Lunar New Year. NetEase will confirm more details about the season 6.5 battle pass and roadmap in the coming days.

The most recent season featured Gambit and Rogue, two iconic members of the X-Men who have made numerous appearances in video games, movies, and TV shows alike. The season also teased the debut of Cyclops, who will likely be available as a playable character at a later date.

Lastly, Marvel Rivals is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The developers are open to releasing a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Marvel Rivals at a later date
