NetEase has announced that Marvel Rivals will add Rogue alongside Season 5.5 on December 12. New costumes and balance adjustments, including a Savage Land skin for Rogue, will be available on the same day.
In the original Marvel comics, Rogue, real name Anna Marie, is an X-Man who has the power to steal and use the powers of anyone that gets in her way. In Rivals, she is a Vanguard (tank) who also has the ability to absorb the powers of others. Her ultimate allows her to steal the ultimate charge of her enemies. Additionally, NetEase released a dev diary which reveals more details about Season 5.5. It confirms new skins that will be releasing to celebrate the Christmas season, such as the iconic Daredevil suit where he wears a Christmas sweater that states “I’m Not Daredevil.” Check out the full dev diary for Marvel Rivals season 5.5 below:
Recently, Season 5 for Marvel Rivals was fully unveiled. The first trailer highlights a wedding between Gambit and Rogue, two iconic members of the X-Men who have made numerous appearances in video games, movies, and TV shows alike. It also features a look at other X-Men characters, including those who haven’t yet debuted in Rivals yet, such as Cyclops. Season 5 added Gambit on November 4.
Lastly, Marvel Rivals is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The developers are open to releasing a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Marvel Rivals at a later date. Season 5 of Marvel Rivals will release on November 14.
