Spike Chunsoft has updated its official website for Danganronpa 2×2, revealing the specifications, frame rates, and resolution for the console and PC versions of the game.
Danganronpa 2×2 Resolution and Frame Rates Per Platform
- Nintendo Switch – 1080p at 30 to 60 FPS (variable depending on the scene)
- 1080p in docked, 720p in handheld
- Nintendo Switch 2 – 1080p at 30 to 60 FPS (variable depending on the scene)
- 1080p in handheld and docked
- PlayStation 5 – 4K at 60 FPS
- Xbox Series X – 4K at 60 FPS
- Xbox Series S – 1080p (60 FPS listed, but might be for Xbox Series X version)
- PC – 720p to 4K, 60 FPS with recommended settings

As previously announced, Danganronpa creator Kazutaka Kodaka is working on Danganronpa 2×2 alongside developers from Too Kyo Games, Spike Chunsoft, and Gemdrops. Kodaka is supervising the story and providing story and trick ideas. Character designer Rui Komatsuzaki and composer Masafumi Takada also return.
