NC has released the highlights for the Astrae Oratio closed beta test that recently took place. The full game will release in 2027 for iOS, Android, and PC.
According to a press release, the highlights are as follows:
Player feedback was overwhelmingly positive. According to the game’s post-CBT survey:

- 86.7% of respondents reported a positive first impression of the game
- More than 80% of respondents praised the game’s story and characters
Astrae Oratio also generated strong engagement from players around the world, reaching the following milestones during the CBT:

- Players logged nearly 80,000 hours of total play time
- Combat scenarios were attempted more than 1.13 million times
- The “Score Trial” boss challenge was cleared nearly 20,0000 times
- Eight out of ten players returned and played on a second consecutive day
The NC official website offers the following description of Astrae Oratio:
Astrae Oratio is a Shindenki subculture RPG set in a fantasy world where magic permeates everyday life.
Players can explore Astrae Oratio’s expanded world through four-panel comics and character stamps, available on the teaser site and official social channels. NC will continue rolling out additional characters, universe details, and promotional videos on an ongoing basis.
A familiar yet foreign world where Tokyo Tower has just been completed and Odaiba’s international exhibition center is still under construction. The Shunin, a low-ranking local public official, is assigned to a mysterious institution known as the Special District Office.
It turns out to be an agency responsible for overseeing the administrative affairs of magicians living in Tokyo while concealing their true identities.
The Shunin becomes the public official assigned exclusively to the magicians of Tokyo. They alone are tasked with handling the city’s various magician- related incidents.
