    Persona 5: The Phantom X Surpasses 10 Million Pre-Registrations in China

    Launching on April 12 in the country.

    The official website for Persona 5: The Phantom X confirms that the game surpassed 10 million pre-registrations in China. The game will launch first in China, followed by South Korea and other regions around the world at later dates. 

    In Persona 5: The Phantom X, players explore everyday school life and the Metaverse as the protagonist Wonder, just like Joker once did in Persona 5 / Persona 5 Royal. A Persona 5: The Phantom X “Heart Stealing Test” was held this past January, giving players in China a preview of what’s to come before the April 12 launch. 

    Persona 5: The Phantom X Exceeds 10 Million Pre-Registrations

    Fans who pre-registered for Persona 5: The Phantom X on the official website may see the total pre-registration count exceed 10 million in China. @ScrambledFaz caught a glimpse of the pre-registration count reach the milestone on Twitter: 

    The game’s official website and Wanmei account recently released a new gameplay trailer with Japanese voice-overs and Chinese subtitles. The gameplay trailer highlights protagonist Wonder, his new Phantom Thief companions, and the returning Phantom Thieves. 

    Persona 5: The Phantom X will launch in South Korea with Perfect World Games as the publisher. The game’s official YouTube, Naver, and Kakao accounts are now live for South Korea as well, so announcements and advertising will pick up in the region soon. Currently, pre-registration is available now for the Chinese version on the official website.

    Persona 5: The Phantom X releases on April 12 to Android, iOS, and PC (Windows) in China. Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will be the next major ATLUS release, with Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis -The Answer- following up this September. After the release of Episode Aigis, Metaphor: ReFantazio will land on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in fall 2024.
