    Persona 5: The Phantom X Beta Releases April 12 in China

    Perfect World Games confirms that the public beta for Persona 5: The Phantom X will release on April 12 in China. The game will also be released in South Korea at a later date, and Japanese and western releases are expected to follow up. 

    In Persona 5: The Phantom X, players explore everyday school life and the Metaverse as the protagonist Wonder, just like Joker once did in Persona 5 / Persona 5 Royal. A Persona 5: The Phantom X “Heart Stealing Test” was held this past January, giving players in China a preview of what’s to come.

    Persona 5: The Phantom X’s Imminent Beta Release in China

    Players in China only need to wait one more month to experience Persona 5: The Phantom X in its beta form. The official website and the game’s Wanmei account also released a new gameplay trailer with Japanese voice-overs and Chinese subtitles. The gameplay trailer highlights protagonist Wonder, his new Phantom Thief companions, and the returning Phantom Thieves.

    Persona 5: The Phantom X will launch in South Korea with Perfect World Games as the publisher. The game’s official YouTube, Naver, and Kakao accounts are now live for South Korea as well, so announcements and advertising will pick up in the region soon. Currently, pre-registration is available now for the Chinese version on the official website.

    Persona 5: The Phantom X will enter its beta phase on April 12 to Android, iOS, and PC (Windows) in China. Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will be the next major ATLUS release, with Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis -The Answer- following up this September. After the release of Episode Aigis, Metaphor: ReFantazio will land on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in fall 2024.
