A new collaboration event between mobile survival game Identity V and Persona 5 Royal will be held in August 2024, according to Identity V’s official Twitter account.
The success of the Persona 5 series, including Persona 5 Royal, is a major contributing factor for Persona’s growing worldwide audience. Thus far, the Persona series moved over 22 million copies sold. Of course, mobile game collaborations for Persona 5 Royal are still being planned, with Identity V hosting the game’s second collaboration event with the popular ATLUS title.
Identity V x Persona 5 Royal Coming in August
The new teaser trailer for Identity V sees Ren Amamiya (Joker) en route to the Oletus Manor for the new Persona 5 Royal collaboration event. The Phantom Thieves will appear again in the game, and the event is expected to start in August 2024. More details are coming soon, so stay tuned. This June, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will be the first of ATLUS’ new releases following Persona 3 Reload, with Episode Aigis -The Answer- following up this September. After the release of Episode Aigis, Metaphor: ReFantazio will land on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in fall 2024.
Soul Hackers 2 director Eiji Ishida is also working on a new unannounced game at ATLUS. He’s working alongside the game’s director to complete it, likely in a producer or assistant director type role. Further details about this new game are unknown.
