    Suika Game iOS Version Now Available in Japan

    An Android version was not announced, however.

    To celebrate the first day of 2024, developer Aladdin X announced Suika Game is now available for iOS in Japan! The mobile version was highly requested by fans ever since the game’s launch on Nintendo Switch.

    Nearly two years after its Japanese release, Suika Game made its western debut on October 20 for Nintendo Switch. Over five million copies of the game have been sold worldwide, and the game recently received its holiday update with Christmas-themed fruit and a new theme.

    Suika Game Comes to iOS on New Year’s Day

    The iOS version of Suika Game is available now for 240 yen in Japan via the App Store, and it’s published by popIn Inc. In the iOS version, players can move the fruit left to right with their finger and press inside the box to drop the fruit. An Android version has not been announced, and the iOS version does not appear to support English yet. 

    This past November, Aladdin X confirmed that Suika Game surpassed 4.4 million copies sold. Shortly after the launch in October, the game reached four million, and roughly 400,000 copies were sold in just a 72-hour timespan. The game will surely approach six million copies sold at the current pace in early 2024. 

    Nintendo held a Suika Game Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial, allowing subscribers to play the game for free from December 14 to 20. Those who participate in the game trial will complete a MyNintendo mission and earn 100 Platinum Points for free.
