ATLUS revealed multiple greeting cards to welcome fans into New Year’s Day in 2024, including one with the iconic mascot Jack Frost from the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona series. 2024 will be a major year for ATLUS with games like Persona 3 Reload, Unicorn Overlord, and Metaphor: ReFantazio around the corner.
Over the holidays, ATLUS revealed new artwork of Persona 5’s Morgana and Metaphor: ReFantazio’s Gallica. This artwork was drawn by illustrator Shigenori Soejima, the main illustrator for the Persona series and Metaphor: ReFantazio. As 2024 arrives around the world, fans may also admire three new greeting cards from ATLUS.
ATLUS New Year’s Day 2024 Greeting Cards
The first of the new greeting cards came from the official ATLUS Twitter account, which posted artwork of Jack Frost alongside Kohryu. Since 2024 is the year of the dragon, Kohryu is a great fit for the greeting card.
Secondly, the official Twitter account for Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation Dx2 revealed a new greeting card featuring the in-game render of Kohryu.
Update 1/1/2024 at 6:00 p.m. EDT – ATLUS West released a New Year’s Day 2024 greeting card for Persona 5 Tactica:
Lastly, Perfect World Games revealed a new greeting card featuring Wonder and his companions from Persona 5: The Phantom X.
2024 will be an incredibly eventful year for ATLUS, as Persona 5: The Phantom X will receive closed beta test in Taiwan, Macao, and Hong Kong from January 22 to January 29. Just a few days later, Persona 3 Reload will release on February 2 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Windows and Steam. This exciting remake includes several quality-of-life improvements, a revamped Tartarus, new side stories and events, and so much more.
On March 8, ATLUS will release Vanillaware-developed fantasy RPG, Unicorn Overlord. Unicorn Overlord features a vast fantasy world, a robust combat system, compelling simulation and management mechanics , and an incredible artstyle synonymous with Vanillaware games. Alain, protagonist and prince of Cornia, is chosen to lead the Liberation Army and return peace to Fevrith.
In fall 2024, ATLUS Studio Zero will release its original fantasy RPG, Metaphor: ReFantazio In the story of Metaphor: ReFantazio, the protagonist and his fairy companion Gallica embark on a journey to break a curse, which was inflicted on the kingdom’s prince. This curse is broken by taking the life of the person who casted it.
