During EVO 2023, EVO general manager Rick Thiher revealed the dates for EVO Japan 2024 and EVO 2024. EVO will be returning to a July schedule next year, and a new event has been teased.
EVO 2023 is one of the most successful fighting game events of all time with a new attendance record exceeding 20,000 attendees. Founders Tom and Tony Cannon were given the keys to Las Vegas, and EVO Day is now officially recognized for August 6 in Nevada.
EVO Japan 2024 and EVO 2024 Dates Confirmed
Thiher reveals that EVO Japan will return on April 27 to 29, 2024 in Tokyo. The event will be held in the Ariake GYM-EX, the site of Tokyo 2020 Olympics. EVO Japan 2024 is sponsored by Rohto, so attendees can expect Rohto Z Man to return as well. A new trailer was revealed to highlight what fans may look forward to next year.

Following EVO Japan 2024’s reveal, Thiher confirmed that EVO will return to the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. EVO 2024 will be held from July 26 to 28, marking the event’s return to a July schedule. Further details about the event were not revealed, but Thiher teases that another EVO event will be held in another location. Fans can expect more details soon at the official EVO website.
