Cygames announced Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising launches November 30 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders for the Standard and Deluxe Editions open on August 7 for $49.99 and $74.99 respectively in the PlayStation Store. Wishlisting will be available on Steam.
The Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising pre-release tournament recently finished up at EVO 2023 this weekend. During EVO 2023’s main stage event on August 6, Cygames creative director Tetsuya Fukuhara shared a slew of news about the upcoming title, including a second beta test.
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising ‘Free Edition’ and Second Beta Test
Alongside the release date announcement for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Cygames producer Tetsuya Fukuhara announced a ‘Free Edition’ will also be available. The Free Edition features four playable characters, part 1 of the story, Grand Bruise Legends, online play, and lobby access. Players may try out the Free Edition on November 30 and play with others who purchased the full release. Some features are limited in the free edition, however. Moreover, a second online beta test will be available in fall 2023. The beta test includes lobby matches, cross-play, and Grand Bruise Legends.

Cygames is planning to host a news show in September 2023. The upcoming news show will include a recap of information released in August 2023 for both Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising and Granblue Fantasy: Relink. Additionally, Fans may also look forward to Granblue Fantasy Fes 2023 on December 23 and December 24 at the Tokyo Big Sight. Granblue Fantasy Fes 2023 attendees will be able experience the mobile game’s world through several booths, stage shows, and activities before Christmas.
Finally, Granblue Fantasy is available now for Android, iOS, and web browsers. Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising launches in 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Granblue Fantasy: Relink launches this winter to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
