During EVO 2023, SNK announced Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, the official title for the long-awaited GAROU / Fatal Fury game. The game includes playable characters Rock Howard and Terry Bogard.
The new GAROU / Fatal Fury game was previously announced at EVO 2022 by SNK producer Yasuyuki Oda. Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard, and Joe Higashi are among the confirmed playable characters for the new fighting game.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Official Title Revealed
SNK revealed the official title for the new Fatal Fury title at EVO 2023 alongside a new gameplay trailer featuring Rock Howard and Terry Bogard. Once more, SNK notes that Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is “furiously in development.” SNK also wants fans to “watch for when these wolves bare fangs next”. Platforms and a release date were not revealed, however.

Additionally, The King of Fighters XIII: Global Match will release on November 16 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. The upcoming re-release includes new features such as rollback netcode, expanded lobby features, and a new spectator mode. The second open beta test for The King of Fighters XIII: Global Match is currently available until August 7 for PlayStation 4. Further, The King of Fighters XIII: Global Match is backwards compatible on PlayStation 5.
KOF fans may also look forward to The King of Fighters XV DLC character Najd. She will make her debut in The King of Fighters XV on August 8, followed by returning character Duo Lon in fall 2023. In addition, a new balance patch will be released in the fall alongside Duo Lon. Another DLC character will release this winter, but SNK did not reveal the character’s identity yet.
Lastly, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is in development at SNK, and a release date has not been announced.
